100% done by arson.

Now you have pkk terrorists and its supporters celebrating and bragging about it.

We should start using flamethrowers and burn these rats in their caves.

Turkey is battling wildfires that have broken out in 41 different areas recently, with 31 of them successfully brought under control so far.

The forest fires have erupted over the last few days in the southern provinces of Mersin, Osmaniye, Adana, Antalya, Kahramanmaras.

The blazes also burst out in the southwestern province of Mugla and central provinces of Kirikkale and Kayseri.

The county's efforts to bring 10 ongoing fires under control are continuing as 1,832 personnel, three planes, 29 helicopters, and 458 water tenders are joining the mission.

Massive forest fires in Antalya province

Turkey’s Mediterranean coastal city of Antalya is one of the areas where fires blaze out. An 82-year-old man, who was left alone at home, died while evacuation efforts were underway in the Kepezbeleni village of Akseki district.

Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli said on Thursday that there are 10 people stranded in the Oymapinar Dam in the province while some neighborhoods were evacuated.

"Ambulances and AFAD (the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) teams are on the way for our citizens in Oymapinar Dam. The road is open, they will try to evacuate them," he said, adding that they do not face a life-threatening situation.

Later, Manavgat District Governor Mustafa Yigit said 10 people stranded in the dam were rescued.

Forest fires first erupted on Wednesday in Antalya’s Manavgat district and spread over a large area.

"Three of our citizens lost their lives and 122 others were affected from fires while treatment of 58 citizens continues," AFAD said on Manavgat fires.

With the latest announcement, the number of people who died during fires in Antalya has risen to four.

Firefighters battling blazes in Adana, Mersin provinces

Along with Antalya, Adana, and Mersin, firefighters are working selflessly to bring fires under control in other provinces.

In Mersin, people living in areas near fires were evacuated on Wednesday.

Firefighters are battling fires in the two districts of the province.

They are also working in the Kozan district of Adana province where a fire broke out in a forested land in the Kizlarsekisi area.

Authorities said that the powerful wind fanned fires to rage through the region and it hampers efforts to put out the blazes.

NASA from space showing the forest fires in Turkey
Today, North of the Girne, over the sea was full of red looking clouds.. We barely seen the sunset, sky was not clear.. My car windows were not fully closed, ashes were in my upholstery, ashes were over everywhere in the outdoors. I am feeling so sad, It is heartbreaking. TRNC issued a ban and prohibited entering forest land for everyone. I hope it ends soon and the criminals behind this revealed!!

How can a human being or an organism could be so cruel, monsterous to destroy planet* This is a mass murder.. they deserve the worst punishment!

Nothing you can do about it
It is stated in the law that you can be bailed until your trial begins
Since when can terrorists be bailed out?
Oh since AKP came to power, i forgot, you are right...

*rented service.
Most of the helicopters are rented service too.
The thing is, people with technical background rumors that THK's firefighter planes have more capacity in total and far less amount (than what is being paid to rents) to be actually functional.
Note that THK's planes are CL215, and some of them are relatively young even the old ones are still commonly used around the world. Unlike Berilev, these aircrafts are small and agile and can handle fires in challenging territories too.

How much would it cost to prepare a well-equipped firefighting fleet that also uses UAVs as is, without renting hourly.

Iam not an AKP supporter but.... wasnt this the law for a long time?
When the law is being exercised, you guys are angry, when the law isnt; you guys are still angry
Many HDP lawmakers who were accused of supporting PKK were bailed the same way
Many other opposition figures from the CHP etc throughout AKP history were bailed the same way
Why are you angry about the law being exercised? Until a trial formally condemns you to be a terrorist, you are still a "suspect" by law. The law is supposed to impartial to all; thus, you get angry at the ruling party if they bypassed the law and be happy as long as it is being exercised.....
Even in the US, when a top former adviser to Trump was caught for supporting the UAE interests over USA's one, which is nothing short of treason, yet he still got a bail until his trial start
So in the US it is democratic, but in Turkey it isnt?
You guys wanna the terrorist to not get bail, change the law, but be ready because your allies -HDP- will then be thrown in jail in swarms (PS. not sure if the expression is right though)

This is why no matter how rotten the AKP is, the CHP will be even worse
You guys are accusing others without looking at your own problems and fixing them first
Turkey, thus, will be trapped in an endless cycle of denial until it is brought down either by the PKK and the CHP, or when UAE, Europe, and USA gets too fed up with Erdo
You guys need to really understand these things
As non turkish citizen, when I read the messages in this forum, all what i can see is two factions accusing and pointing to each other faults without fixing their own faults first and yet somehow you still believe that Youu are the messiahs who will bring prosperity to turkey. This applies to both AKP and CHP supporters tbh

Sorry if i ranted or pissed anyone off tbh. I know it isnt my place to talk about politics of another nation but i felt that you guys need to know this since i see the members of each party oblivious to these points tbh

Someone who actually tried to burn a military base is hardly comparable to any HDP politician, first look at this before writing unnecessary essay.
