This is the issue with Islam or maybe Muslims. An atheist person can say that religions are hoax there is no God etc. It's not insult it's a persons personal view.

Eventhough Diamond Tema is a grifter.

I havent been praying properly my dad makes it a big deal out of it. His like you will burn in hell this and that.

I cant believe it a Albanian grifter is now making more sense. But no I dont see myself as an Athiest.

Turks deep down barely practice their religion properly a lot of the religious ones all act high and mighty. Then they complain why the youth are rebelling.

I am an agnostic, tho there are times I want to believe something higher, having an after life and bad people to be punished after life. But can not be sure.
I respect people have their faith in their own way. Just hate people telling others what to do or not because their belief is against it. Not everybody have to live according to others belief.

Turkish parents always use threats. I dont now how other parents from different races and ethnicities are. Many things can be similar.

Scaring people with hell and torture is not the way. I did meet a lot of religious people who overtime began to be womanisers and gamble while the ones who spent their entire lives in nightclubs make a 180 basically became religious.

Nothing is static. Humans change.

I agree with tarikats they all need to be stamped out. I see them more like cults.

Any group who thinks they are high and mighty and think they have the keys to heaven. Steer clear from them at all costs.

Tarikats are also in Judaism and Christianity. You will always have people from different religions all forming their little groups.

The Hashashins were formed by Ismaili fanatics.

On topic of foreign policy.

When we study history. Foreign policy is always based on Pragmatism.

Religion is just another factor in furthering geopolitical goals.

Turkiye needs to stop this Turkish mans burden. Turkiye should always run a pragmatic foreign policy. Turkiye is not a superman that can save everybody.

Never run on politics, religion or even ideology. You can never be successful on the long run.

Survival is your own responsibility. You have to deal with everybody regardless if its the Usa, EU, China and Russia.

So let me ask you this question. Do you call yourself a Muslim or an atheist? If you consider yourself an atheist, I have no other questions.

To me this is a fairly short sighted view of responding to a valid question; ‘Why did the Turks follow and adopt a religion that was predominantly forced on to them by Arabs 1400 years ago? ‘
You do not have to be an atheist to respond to that. Many members here, will have their own take on the answer to @Mis_TR_Like ’s question. I will try my interpretation here:

A lot of Turks were already in the domain of Arabian area of influence as mercenaries, when Arabs started to engulf Middle East . Then with the conquest of new territories where Turks were in abundance, they were transformed in to Islam mainly by force. Then with the help of Turkish converts, Islam was exported to Central Asian Turks. Due to similarities of single creator (Yaradan & Göktengri) in both beliefs and a more structured and organised single belief in Islam , Islam religion was chosen and adopted as a uniting factor by the nomadic Turks and their leaders.

All religions start as somewhat logical and philosophical understanding of who we are, where we are coming from and what is going to happen to us when we die, whilst teaching us to be good respectable beings. Religions give answers to this dilemma in an understandable and acceptable manner.
Then history shows us that they are manipulated to become tools of managing the masses in the way the rulers see fit. Religions are transformed in to a way of uniting different races and creed to finally segregate people in order to rule.
People like Mevlana, Budha, Hallac-ı Mansur, Jesus, Moses, Konfucius all taught religious beliefs in their simplest and purest way, to be good and told people; not to do things if you don’t want the same to be done to yourself. But these teachings, over the centuries, were bastardised and manipulated by the rulers to their own advantages. Many sects and divisions were formed, even within the same religions.

You do not have to be an atheist or hater of religions to be able to see that as it is laid down in black and white in front of all to see and decide by themselves. One of the clearest teachings are in Turkic Tengrism. If investigated properly it explains a great deal about the basis of most other religions.

they are racist
generalizations are always the wrong way to follow and an indication of bias but still I am gonna be honest with you bro...they have impressive production capacity and therefor impressive economical power... yet you are never observing the manifestation of the DNA of a Super power... all you see is widespread corruption everywhere

It is not a generalization.
The Chinese society is, indeed, racist AF.

Tengri literally means God. In that case you're basically a Godist (theist) ? If not, what are the differences between theism and tengrism? I'm genuinely curious.
Tengri doesn't just mean god, it represents the universe as a whole. You could say it's a personification of the universe.

Some major components of Tengrism are:

Ancestor worship: Respecting your ancestors, for it was through their struggles that you exist. Respect, for your ancestors gives you both guidance and purpose.

Animism: Anything can contain a soul/spirit. Including trees, mountains and certain man-made objects

Shamanism: Shamans play a big role in Tengrism, they act as messengers between reality and other realms of existence.

There's a lot more to it, would love to explain more when I'm not busy.

They've doomed themselves with the TFR being as low as it is too, this early on in development arc. Some are predicting population decline to as low as <1 billion by 2050 and <500 million by 2100. These are going to be incredible stresses for society thats also fairly xenophobic at same time.

Large part of society is blackpilled/nihilist in PRC, they cant be easily kickstarted to make families again especially in pricey urban areas where they want to work/live.....life is just spending second no.1 to second no. 2 trillion etc in as epicurean floating way as possible ( a problem in the western dystopia as well).

I looked at the pension fund size for west (major ageing problems + debt there too) compared to PRC. Holy @#$%, the latter is pennies to the dollar for whats needed (even with conservative family support structure being better in PRC overall....but that is fraying now too).

I think the age of superpowers is receding, its going to be bunch of major powers each with complex pros and cons that they have resistance to learning + implementing + correcting (internally and externally)..... and also the unknown regarding things like AI, medical tech etc changing factors regarding this too.

Societies that can remain as whitepilled as possible, TFR as close to 2 as possible while developing economically/technologically as far as possible too will have the raw edge over others....but none will be overarching dominant given there is looming greying costs that are gonna kick everyone in the butt.

Lets continue the conversation in that Tengri thread? I'd also like to explore what @Yasar_TR mentioned, similarities in theologies search for truth etc in the various civilisations (from bronze to iron to modern age, once we figured out farming and had the time for civilisational order/hierarchies and then larger pondering questions in the "beyond").

That thread is too specific. Broader discussions of distinct theological developments in different parts of the world won't be appropriate there. We need a general thread if admins allows.

Allowed. I was thinking of dedicating a whole section to those types of topics, if I can fix my computer on Friday night I'll create it. In the meantime, feel free to open a theology thread in the General section.

TAI pesented its products to algeria from kaan to anka-3 in an industrial production fair
confirmation of joint local manufacturing of anka-S in algeria
seems like slowly but surely a partnership in the spirit of old time and joint history is coming together between algeria and turkey
