Also the relationship between Turkey and Pakistan is old. When India was no more then a British colony and its men were used as cannon fodder to further the imperial ambitions of the British empire, it was the Muslims of that continent who came to the side of the Ottomans. It was the Muslims of that continent who went against fighting the Ottomans and the British executed them for it. Don't ever trivialise the relationship between Turkey and Pakistan. I see Indians today proud of their mutual relationship with Britain, where India was the slave in that relationship. If that relationship is important, then you can see why the Turkey/Pakistan relationship is important.

"Uzbek Defense Minister proposes trilateral cooperation on air defense among Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-Turkey."
Remember that? Imagine early warning radars, Turkish ADS and related stuff in those countries...

The video on erdogan was a troll post, just a propaganda hit against Turkey. Don't pretend it wasn't, now your upset about it. And i mention hindus because its not the muslim Indians or the Sikh Indians constantly chatting shit about Turks online, its predominantly the hindus.

Does erdogan chat shit about you, yes he does. Does his media networks chat shit about you, yep. But do common Turks nope not at all.

So its best you guys pipe down if you can't handle it. Better visit Nikol again. The same guy who said after losing the war the military equipment you sold him turned out to be shite.

Hahahahaha this what living in denial looks like.
You'll find most of turks with same comments and jibe against indians "cow-piss and hindu-pagan"
just as you don't find doesn't mean it doesn't exists, but i don't mind as i don't generalize, bad people are everywhere and with more population they're more but you were quick to generalize.
I can send you the ss if you don't mind.
And for the radar,so far no proof that it failed indian army uses it against Pakistani army and it works well and recently ordered more units otherwise IA would've shamed the equipment to the entire world if it didn't suit their needs.

Come out of your propaganda and delusion, look at both side of the story to get an idea.

Sit yourself down. Next time chill with the propaganda videos on a thread talking about Turkish geopolitics. Create a separate thread for modi propaganda. I'm a fair guy, i don't like erdogan, i dont like his politics. I don't agree with his shit talking of india, however when i see a propaganda video directed against Turkey ill call it for what it is.

Erdogan is not Turkey and he is not the Turkish race. Don't think because you dislike Erdogan that it gives you a freehand to tarnish the entire Turkish state. Turks don't move like that.

Erdogan isnt even ethnically Turkish.

disagree, foreign media especially from these countries have been tarnishing our image for the past decades, now tables turn and we are becoming active and thats a good thing.

You can't tarnish the image of the west using Islam. The west generally despises anything Islamic. So the more Islamic you appear the more despised you will be perceived.

If Turkey created another 5 outlets like TRT world, but gave them a western face like feto does with things like "nordic monitor" toned downed Islamist rhetoric you could massively improve Turkeys image and counter the propaganda against Turkey.

Even now only TRT world is really doing justice to the Palestinian side of the conflict in Isreal, everyone else is either silent or pro Isreal.

It doesnt matter what messages these outlets are sending, they are triggering the french and thats what matters.

Yeah admittedly I overreacted, I think its because i found myself getting drawn into the Palestine Isreali conflict and my emotion over that fell into this.

And i do get why people react towards Turkey, we got a leader who never shuts his fucking mouth. Concerning the Pakistan India disputes if erdogan wanted to do something, he should have tried to mediate quietly and responsibly between the two and privately. Instead he turned it into a circus. He's done the same thing over Isreal/Palestine.

In an ideal world Pakistan and India would get on with each other and Turkey would benefit from that relationship. From a Turkish perspective we have several great powers in the world. The US, Russia and China. India with its massive population is the only other power i think that could reach their status. The US, Russia and China all have serious reasons why they should be against Turkey, the only reason we get any leverage from any of the three is that none of them want to see Turkey side with their competitor. India would have been a great option for Turkey.

@Raptor lets drop issue now, it has been resolved. We all get heated from time to time, we are all only human.

I have learned much from @GoatsMilk in previous posts he has made and continues to make as he has interesting perspective, so it is why I even engaged him on this.

i.e I tend to only engage people (even if they are being negative/unfair on something) I actually learned things from.

Typical Spam bots, you will find some here in forum too, but whatever they post/bait, it will get no further response from me.....because I have learned zilch from them....and simply not worth the time.

Supporting the brotherhood pretty much turned into a massive failure for Turkey. Destroyed many relations for no profit only for Turkey to go back running with a tail between her legs.

This statement is the outcome of a colossal misunderstanding of Turkey's foreign policy dynamics.

Supporting the brotherhood was morally correct and a geopolitically wise decision. Unlike some members, I did work in the field back then. Believe me when I say: You cannot imagine how much respect, love and sympathies Turkey gained among the ordinary Arab people from Morocco to Oman thanks to our cohesive and principled policy.

The issue is slightly different. The government had a good start, won the hearts of the Arab masses but failed to change its foreign policy the minute when everybody knew that the Muslim Brotherhood was unable to regain the power.

Simply saying that our engagement for the MB was a mistake is just plain wrong.

It was an absolute disaster. It won us nothing on the field. To make matters worse half these brotherhood members are sharia wanting dictatorships. The ordinary arab offers us nothing in Turkey. It gains us no strategic victory of any kind.

I don't look really at geopolitics from a moral perspective. Moral issues have many arguments, i purely look at it from a strategic perspective, did we win or did we lose. Supporting the MB was a colossal failure.

To make matters worse Turkeys name has been dragged into the pits by supporting all the various backward ass islamist organisations. In idlib right now its filled with the worst trash and Turkey is trapped trying to get these fools to one moderate themselves and two to stop killing each other.

Azerbaijan was a success, but that was decades in the making.

Libya was a half success, even then we keep hearing them telling the Turks to leave for saving their arses.

Syria was a colossal failure. 10 million refugees and the biggest winners being the enemies of the Turks.

Everywhere else AK party touched turned to shit. The idea in principle sounds good. Support the MB to democratically remove the western installed dictators of muslim lands and then these nations will align with Turkey, as was happening with Morsi. But the result is what matters just as much as the intention if not more so. Its been one massive failure after the other. Then to make matters worse, to distract the Turkish public of these failures erdogan constantly creates new enemies to divert the Turkish public.

We need something else, erdogan and AK party have become tired and stale. We need political winners who can achieve outside of Turkeys borders. You cant expect to win with people who keep losing.

If morsi truly won in Egypt and Assad was overthrown and replaced by the MB, then i would sit here and say you know what i don't like this muppet erdogan, but the guy is geopolitically winning and winning big for Turkey.

As Turks we must not lose sight that leaders of the nation are expected to win. When you lose and you lose big your sons potentially face a future that the Palestinians or Uyghurs today are facing. And the losing is a incremental process and it sneaks up on you, most won't notice they lost the game till it happens and its too late.

If Ataturk lost the independence war, today there is no Turks in Cyprus and i suspect Azerbaijan would still be occupied. There may not have even been any Turks left in Turkey.

There is no logic, there is no foreign policy. We have the opportunity to be neutral yet the man again does short sighted things.

He will go attack European countries with his rehtoric then go and join them.

I really dont understand tayyip really I dont. His got no leg to stand on uses whatever rehtoric to his advantage.

Also the defence of Europe seriously who cares. Turkey has nothing to sacrifoce for Europe. I agree lets stay neutral. We not West or East we are the Middle.

There is not a single reason, we literally can be quiet and neutral and focus on our defense developments and primary threats and yet the man again goes full retard.

Honestly Pesco when was made it was made clear that these projects will keep Russia, China and Turkiye out.

In other words the EU see's us as an adversary. Going into pesco wont do shit as the EU could still place a arms embargo on us a lot of projects we do with European countries always get stalled every damn time.

Eu has now made it clear to keep Turkiye at an arms length. A few months ago they mentioned that Russia, China and Turkey are growing future threats.

When it comes to the security of Europe I think Turkey has to stop playing as the gate keeper and start being neutral in other words who gives a shit about Europe's security when they dont care about ours.

Seriously tayyip just loves opening his mouth then later on wants to join the club which will most likely reject him.

Spain and Turkey!
Two allies seem to be on the same wavelength.
Quote:

Admiral Santiago Ramón GONZÁLEZ GÓMEZ Spanish Directorate of Defense Industries/National Armament Director (NAD) of Spain talks with Defence Turkey magazine about upcoming bilateral meetings, identifying potential areas of cooperation, particularly in the naval and air sectors, in which both countries are already involved and have many common interests. As mutually beneficial shared projects are further consolidated, the use of joint procedures for training, maintenance and doctrine are possible. The future is promising for these two countries as Spain maintains its support of Turkey’s European perspective and will work to find areas for dialogue in the Eastern Mediterranean, where stable and continuous cooperation is necessary.

Unquote.

We need more countries like Spain that is on our side. But that means balanced and clever politics!!!

At the moment we are beyond neutral we are actively engaged in protecting europe. For example those 10 million refugees that all want to go germany france etc, Turkey has no need or reason to pay for them and to keep them in Turkey. Let them go.

When idlib was going to be attacked by Russia and Assad, 3 to 4 million people would have fled into Turkey, the EU was attacking Turkey and threatening Turkey not to do anything about it.

The kinder Turkey has been to the EU the nastier it has been to Turkey. This stupid relationship has to end, EU has to do good for Turkey and Turkey does good for the EU.
