My experience with Armenians and Greeks in Europe was always positive. Glad that I never met any of those Glendale American-Armenians.

Wtf is going on with Zelensky these days?

Havent Turkey done enough? It was the first country that provided weapons to Ukraine and is still prividing fresh monthly supplies of TB2s and protective equipment for soldiers on the front line. Turkey, for Ukraine, even closed the Bosphorous and yet Ukrainian President wants Turkey to cut its major tourism income source? This is ridiculous tbh

Is it desperation? I did hear that the Ukranian army cant break Russian defences in Kherson and only 8 days are left until Putin announces the formal annexation of all the South and East.....

The order to that statement come from US.

I had a half Maronite Lebanese/Czech girlfriend in high school times, years later after my interests for geopolitics, history etc. i understood why her dad disliked me, those people inherit their butthurt to the next generations since centuries for no reason.

Armenians, Maronites, Greek Cypriots will never ever change unlike some mainland Greeks with whom you can talk with, be friends with but the other ones it's not possible. Armenians in the US for example doesn't speak Armenian, was never there, probably never met a Turk in person but hates us to the core.

My mum worked at childcare a lot of the kids were Assyrians I kid you not the dirty faces they gave when she said she is Turkish.

I had the same thing too since im born in Australia to Turkish parents a lot of people tune changes.

I never got any hate from White Australians. They are more curious about Turkiye rather than hating on it.

I agree I met a lot of Greeks some even learnt some Turkish lol it was hilarious but lovely. Havent seen any negativity a lot of them are from the mainland but one Greek Cypriot was cool with me.

I also think Zelenksy knows that Turkey has the power to turn the tide and unlike the west has already fought in several theatres against Russia. The problem is that we have been targeted by the west just as much as we have by Russia.

In Syria the USA and Russia allied to together against Turkey in supporting the PKK/YPG and threatening Turkey not to defend her sovereignty. When Assad, Iran and Russia were about to attack idlib causing 4 million more refugees to flood Turkey, the EU and US threatened Turkey not to do anything, handing the war to Assad if Turks didn't move.

In Libya, Russia allied with France both backed warlord Haftar, while the EU put an arms embargo on Libya that only targeted Turkey.

In the east med the US/EU ally with all sorts of shady actors to hinder all our rights in the region.

In Azerbaijan the west were supporting Armenia illegal occupation, while threatening Turkey and places new military sanctions on us.

As much as I feel for Zelensky and Ukraine, Turkeys hands are tied and as much i would like her to go all in, it wouldn't be wise. Because the US/EU all have geopolitical ambitions against Turkey. No one in Turkey refuses this anymore, it became so open and apparent that in many ways the USA is seen as a bigger threat to Turkey then Russia is.

But we should be doing more, we should be sending them more advanced drones as well as operators if need be. What ever Akinci's and Aksungurs we currently have in stock should be shipped to aid the defence of Ukraine.

Kargu drones would be nice for Ukraine.

A tripartite military cooperation agreement was signed with the Greek Cypriot Administration of Cyprus, Armenia and Greece.

Tbh only country to be taken serious in this context is Greece no one else.

Wise decion by turkey! Foreign Minister Bourita: We thank and appreciate the position of turkey on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, and in our turn we support Ankara and stand with it on its basic issues, within the framework of solidarity relations between two Muslim countries that have ambitions to strengthen this partnership

Thank God, I thought that the govt would blindly accept Finland and Sweden's bid to join NATO
Erdogan is saying some good things here; it seems he learned from the mistakes of his predecessors when they allowed Greece to join the EU

How it has to be, by letting them join, Turkey would legitimize the support for the PKK.

Imo the russians should have never invaded ukraine but instead gone after Sweden and Baltics.

The problem is that in the international media Turkey again is portrayed as the bad guy. This issue should have been settled behind the scenes, Sweden, Finland drop all support for terrorists and they are admitted. The only reason it should have been spoken openly if Turkeys concerns were ignored.

How can Turkey put her nation on the line to defend Sweden and Finland against Russia when both nations support PKK terrorism against the Turkish state.

This is the problem Turkey faces, we stand alone we are neither west nor east, both have ambitions against us.

who cares what west media says anyways lel ukraine is a good example herewhere the only ones really sucking up to ukrainians are the westerners and not everyone else so for fucks sake drop the argument that western pr matters because it does not.

Especially for a country like turkey where there has been bad pr from the west for centuries lel

Western public opinion is important, because the more they are brainwashed to hate the Turks, the easier it is the sell to support communist terrorists against us.

We spend billions on weapons, we should be spending billions on international media. Even the Saudis buy stock in big international media corporations so they get positive press.

Arguably the media is the most powerful weapon in existence.

The world is changing at a fast rate and with each year the west has less and less relevance.

3 years ago they were able to advocate for such shit, nowadays they dont have the balls to do anything like that. I repeat myself, the opinion of them on us doesnt matter, if they hate us to that extent that they have to support terrorism against us then Turkey needs to be a country that reminds such countries that actions come with consequences- exactly like know and in the future much harder.

Thats why I support the Hagia Sophia becoming a mosque again because it was the perfect middle finger to Westerners, Europeans and Christians.

I mean do I practice my religion properly? Well I say its complicated at best.

We should not give single fck what the world thinks of us.

Thats why Filand and Sweden dont deserve Nato I even support Russia steam rolling them to be honest.

Either these Nordics give us something in return if not I hope Russia steam rolls their liberal paradise.

How come we dont have a watch list for Swedish and Finnish citizens?

Every time these people come to Turkiye they give support to pkk with funds or even joining them by smuggling themselves into Syria or Iraq.

Every Scandanvian that visits Turkiye should be held with suspicion.

For someone who lives in England that was a dumb move. You basically made it easy for greeks and armenians as well as kurds to demonise Turks further to the English.

The best thing to have done was reopen it as a orthodox church. Positive press, increased tourism revenues, while Muslims are seen as less fanatical and intolerant.

Changing it to mosque benefited erdogans domestic image, but little else.

I'm not arguing with you people about how these nations behave, they behave as hostile enemies, but we cannot keep falling into their traps, we have to be smarter, wiser then them.

As for the west losing its dominance, yes the world is opening up but as it stands and it will stand for at least another hundred years the west will be the side that matters. The Russians fooled themselves into thinking the west was weak and backward, as a result they ended with the Ukrainian disaster and they are not even fighting a NATO nation.

I dont think opening it as a Orthodox church meant shit.

Orthodox Christians destroyed a lot of our history in the Balkans and Central Asia.

During thr Bosnian war the Serbs and Croats destroyed any kind of kind of Ottoman history that they can get their hands on.

While the Greeks turned a Ottoman mosque into a porno theater.

Respect my ass
