Need to end this cold war between West and Türkiye. Our place is not in the Asia!

Sweden hasn't supported PKK dogs as much as Russians do ( USSR did)

Someone needs to check on @Bogeyman and @Zafer to see if they’re ok ?😬😬 although I don’t want to judge too quickly because maybe they haven’t heard the news yet and that’s why they are not around 😎
There was not a point in holding Sweden out forever, if you are thinking it was possible than you are nuts.

Even the Hungarian parliament has a more upright stance. Another thing is that we saw once again how the parties that voted against Akp on the declaration on martyrs or, for example, on the blue homeland/crossborder military issues, in order not to appear to be standing side by side with Akp, align behind Akp when it comes to NATO-Atlanticist issues. One of the most fundamental problems of this country is that we cannot break this Atlanticist structure. Turkish diplomacy took a heavy blow last night and it will take years to recover. If Hungary holds out until the US elections, we will have done this foolishness for nothing.

Üstad, this analogy is really inappropriate. We have no military alliance with Russia and we have a lot of conflict of interests indirectly from UKR to the Libya(where the special forces of the two countries have directly confronted each other). We also periodically hit Russian proxy units in the northern Aleppo region. Our type of relationship with Russia is not an alliance.

The problem is that while the source of our national security threats is increasingly coming from the support, strategy and imposition of NATO countries, we are both insensitive to this issue and opening the doors wide open to more and more countries that will increase this threat while we let in their biggest national security moves in the history for nothing. On the other hand, the main source of the problem is that we are still doing what the US says, while its regional policies on our national security are obvious and it does not take any step back, especially on pkk-ypg. This touches my blood! We have lost hundreds of people in recent years as a result of US policies, and if we continue with this mindset, we will continue to lose.

Dear, Sweden NATO membership and YPG problem aren't connected. Unfortunately we have lost people not just because of US policies. PKK is supported by many countries.

Anyway long in short, Türkiye should keep balance between West and East. unfortunately the real life is cruel.

Welcoming Sweden in NATO will open new opportunities for Turkish economy and industry etc.
As i said together we stronger.

NATO is still good for Turkiye.

At least the west is still not directly united against Turkiye as long as we stay in NATO.

otherwise we will become the situation of Ottomans. If we leave , nato will become another Holy League against us.

Other organizations are still not as strong as NATO.

Right, Anatolia is in Western Europe.

The reason why other Western countries mess around with their PKK/YPG policies is solely because of US. If USA didn't had the back of these entities and CENTCOM didn't actively trained them and armed them, you think other European countries would dare antogonizing Türkiye by picking a beef in it's backyard thousands of km away from Europe? None of the countries has such power projection ability. (French tried in Libya, But Türkiye single handedly achieved its objective.)

I don't know what you smoke, but I'd like some of it :)

Nothing is going to change for Turkey, except they got another one of their western nations under the NATO umbrella.

Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander Holds an Off-Camera, On-The-Record Press Briefing on the Ukraine Defense Contact Group Meeting

"Question: ...So the United Kingdom tried to send over a minesweeper, and that was blocked by Turkey and the Montreux -- Turkey, using the Montreux Convention. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on whether this is something that's going to continue to be an issue if the U.S. or its allies try to send over things like minesweepers, and if this is -- you've seen any other similar incidents where aid has been blocked from getting to Ukraine?

Answer: Celeste Wallander, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy:
So I would note that Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey have publicly announced that they've -- they're joining together in a de-mining -- Black Sea de-mining operation. And we welcome that, because that's going to be really important, not just for Ukraine but for commercial shipping and shipping in general in the Black Sea, which is an international water -- body of water.

So we want to work with the littoral countries of the Black Sea, including Turkey, on conditions under which we can move away from the state of -- state of conflict in which Turkey decided to -- and as the, kind of, guardian of the Montreux Convention, invoked that provision of the Montreux Convention.

I would just note the reason why they invoked it is because of war -- Russia's war against Ukraine. And so what we need to do is help the Ukrainians continue to defend themselves against Russian attacks so that there is a permissive environment in which we can effectively re-open the Black Sea to commercial shipping completely. The conditions are better than they were because Ukraine has been able to move out some -- some grain, some commercial shipping, in large measure because of its success in pushing back Russian naval capabilities and strike capabilities in the Black Sea.

But the real key towards beginning to build a return to commercial shipping and to Ukraine being able to operate as a navy, as a maritime power, as is its right under international law, as a littoral Black Sea country, is for Russia to end its war against Ukraine.

I know this is off-topic, but I can't help saying two things about this east-west belonging: We are not Europeans. Even though we established states and sovereignties in Europe continent before most European civilizations even emerged. We are no longer Asians, even though our origins are Asian and we have deep traces, empires, orders in almost all parts of the continent. These modern Turks west of the Caspian, in the Black Sea and Mediterranean basin, are everything in between these two civilization blocks. Turks are in fact first and foremost one of the heirs of the intermediate zone and the element that sustains this phenomenon. We are not only the heirs of the Turkish state lineage, but also the heirs of all the past civilizations in our lands, which the west ignores, but the bloodline is in our society. We are a continuation of intermediate zone state order, and everything we stand for and everything that forms the strong foundations of our state orders derives from this.

It is not for nothing that 19th century European modern historiography based its entire civilization on a silly constructs, which today turns out to be mostly bullshit. Asia Minor, the entire Anatolian, Levant and Black Sea basin civilizations, starting even before the Hittites, are completely ignored. Even the scientific advances attributed to whole European civilization in history are a mass of plagiarism, stolen from a vast geography, from Andalusia in the west to Egypt and Asia Minor in the east to the Asiatic empires, if you extend the time span to the Enlightenment.

This lands there to be plundered for both blocs. The lives of their people do not matter and their states must be subjugated. For this, their history must be denied, their state kept on the brink. Because, history has repeatedly shown that these places, where everything is born, have the potential to completely reverse the roles when they reach a strong and independent order.

If I know our president, we cannot buy the F16s and at the same time we approve Sweden's NATO membership.

Trump scores election win in New Hampshire

Trump scores election win in New Hampshire

Former President Donald Trump has won a commanding victory in the New Hampshire Republican primary, scoring an easy win over his only remaining rival for the GOP nomination, Nikki Haley.

In a victory speech after the results were in, Trump thanked his supporters and hurled invective at both Haley and President Joe Biden, saying the Republican candidate “had a very bad night” and is “not going to win.”

We’ve won almost every single poll in the last three months against crooked Joe Biden, almost, and she doesn’t win those polls,” he added, going on to say that Biden “can’t put two sentences together” or “find the stairs off the stage.”

Trump in the White House means:

1. More Turkish operations in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
2. More investments in Turkey (Trump Industries)
3. Less US troops in MENA region.
4. F16's & Patriots for Turkish Armed Forces.
5. Less funding for PKK, SDF, YPG.
6. Calmth in the Black Sea (Ukraine/Russia).
7. Calmth between Azerbaijan/Armenia.

After the US side offered us F-31 instead of F-16 we have no choice but to accept Sweden's membership. The offer was too good to be rejected.

Re Iranian connection. Iranian influence on Turkish politics haven't been this high since 90s. And now it's irking the people on the other side of the Iranian proxies that we supported financially and even militarily in some cases.

"Under the guise of defending the Palestinian cause, the Houthi militias in Yemen are trying to ignore the atrocities and massacres they have committed against the Yemeni people for 9 years, the suffering of the Yemeni people, and to justify their crimes.

As the Yemeni Students Association, we find it surprising that posters of Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, are being distributed and hung on the streets of Istanbul to cover up the crimes committed against the Yemeni people. These militias are not supporting the Palestinian cause. the atrocities and massacres committed against the people of Yemen for 9 years under the pretence of the "Yemenite people", They continue to ignore the suffering of the Yemeni people and to denounce their crimes.
and tries to whitewash the Palestinian people.

As the Yemeni Students Association, we would like to emphasise once again that we stand by the Palestinian people and support their legitimate resistance against the occupiers. We also condemn in the strongest terms the inhumane war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza and emphasise the need for international powers to take action to stop these crimes.

We note that these attempts are an attempt to hide the true face of the Houthi militias. These militias have massacred thousands of innocent people, starved children and besieged cities in Yemen. In addition, they have criminalised the education of Yemeni students in Turkey, closed the Turkish language department in universities, changed the curriculum, portrayed Turkey as an occupying country and demolished the Turkish monument in Sana'a.

As the Yemeni Students Association, we call on the Turkish government to stop these initiatives and take the necessary measures. In addition, civil society organisations organisations to reject these initiatives and to support the coup plotters in the present and future. the threats they pose for generations to come.

Finally, we would like to state that we are determined to take legal action against the organisations that carried out these attempts."

The last move made by Russia was asking for some additional threat from the west by threatening to engage in conflict with other nations that had historical master slave relationship with the USSR. Sweden's accession in NATO became unavoidable.
