This is unlikely to happen. At best, it'd be a couple of more squadrons of Rafales for IAF along with 36 Rafale-Ms' for IN

If you obtained this price from the recent report of 97 Mk-1As' costing $7.8B, that isn't the unit cost since it potentially includes long term maintenance and spares contracts, set up of required facilities, weapons etc

It costed IAF around $40-45m per jet for Mk-1 and I assume the Mk-1As' should cost an additional ~$10m

Moves in the last few days may make it possible to happen. India has realized US will provide us no support in event of war, and that they have to maintain minimum credible defence, forget offense. It’s possible, they may move forward with 114 & somehow find a way to fund Mk2, AMCA , Ghatak UCAV & possibly TEDBF (not approved yet).

An engine deal should be done this year.

How many times have I heard that sort of thing? Such and such will be done before such and such date. The date arrives without it having been done and without comment. I do wonder whether acknowledging failure is too much to stomach so it is hidden/forgotten only to be repeated again and again.

Tejas MK3 Twin Engine to Replace Su 30 MKI After 2045

That is TEDBF AF version. But it would be AMCA that would be replacing Su30. We would be forced by China to induct atleast 250 5th gen fighters.

nope it will be a wrong idea to replace su30mki with amca, see what usaf is doing it is flying f16, f15, f18 and plans to continue fly them till at least 2070 almost 100 yrs why simple these jets can carry variety of ammo and carry out multiple missions and are cheaper to operate than F22/F35 that cant operate in variety of missions and can carry limited payload in comparison to f16/18/15. i say again using 5th gen jets for most of the missions is like using a sword to cut veggies

Any update on engines? I think GE is supposed to start shipping the 11 more promised for 2025 round about now.

IMO India would never gain 100% sovereignty developing an engine in conjunction with any US company. Perhaps that would not happen with RR or SAFRAN either. I think, however, that the promise of 100% from RR or SAFRAN (of whatever) would result in India getting closer to 100% than it would from GE.
