It was
detected for the first category of the march helicopters electric in the presence of HE Edge Wing Faisal Al Bannai, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Edge, Ali Al Yafei, CEO Odasi.
On this occasion, His Excellency Faisal Al-Bannai said: “Today’s drone technology is revolutionizing our contemporary world, and the full potential of the autonomous capabilities of droned systems is still being explored, not only in the military sector, but also at the commercial level. Revolutionary innovations in the field of military-commercial cooperation will take place here. "
He added: "The success of Edge in launching the first Emirati group of hovercraft drones at the targets during our first year of work, constitutes an important achievement for the company specialized in the technology sector, which plays a vital role in enhancing the UAE's own capabilities and integrating artificial intelligence technologies."
QX
The "QX" group of helicopters on the targets includes four products: "QX-1", "QX-2", "QX-3", which are drones of various sizes ranging from very small to medium, and "Q The X-4 "features fixed wings and is capable of vertical takeoff and landing. These precision-guided systems use complex artificial intelligence algorithms to target and strike with an accuracy of less than 1 meter, with targeting similar to laser guided munitions. These products are designed to be launched in any environment or terrain, and the QX full range of unmanned aircraft are lightweight, portable, and have vertical take-off and landing capability.
Shadow
The second group of drones includes hovering over the targets, each of the "Shadow 50", which can carry up to 50 kilograms, and the "Shadow 25", which can carry half the previous load, which is a high-speed system equipped with a jet engine and has a short response time. . These drones use global satellite navigation systems, and they can fly using video navigation systems in the absence of satellite navigation systems or there is interference and obstruction in the area of operations, as well as high-precision strikes against fixed targets as well as advanced guidance capabilities.
'Rush'
The Rush 2 guidance system, which was launched on the first day of IDEX, is a fixed-wing guidance group for mortar and other internally designed payloads, capable of flying and directing munitions to ground targets. This vehicle is available in a variety of sizes to meet various requirements for payload capacity, range and durability. ADASI signed a contract worth 55 million dirhams to supply Rush 2 to the UAE Armed Forces, marking the first order for this newly launched product.
"RW24"
Three new additions were launched to the "RW24" group during IDEX 2021. The new sensor of the "RW24" was equipped with an automatic thermal searcher that enhances the accuracy of engagement with targets moving by means of TV guidance and improves the functions within Environments where GPS signals are blocked.
The various types of this aircraft, the upgraded RW24 warhead and the enhanced range of the RW24, help to increase the payload capacities from 8 to 13 kilograms, which enables the drone to carry additional fuel or increase the size of the warhead. .
The QX and Shadow hovercraft product range, as well as the Rush 2 guidance system and new variants of the RW24, have been completely designed and manufactured in the UAE to a standard schedule of less than a year. .
Edge ranks the advanced technology group among the top 25 military suppliers in the world.
