I am much more concerned about how much valuable information they can gather before executing the attacks, if they can get accurate information like TO position, security detail and sitrep, XO infil and so on, then the hunting would be much easier.

I think information gathering and intel is much more important than killing bunch of enemy, thus with information gathered they can use it to synchronize and defeat adversaries in efficient way.



anyway, is there any information leak about how ID AF will participate in Super Garuda Shield 2022, will there any precise bombing, CAS, and so on ? it will be not so much spectacular if only rely on air cav, wkwks

In this exercise, dozens of multi-platform aircraft were involved which included F-16 fighter aircraft, Sukhoi Su 27/30, T-50i Golden Eagle, EMB 314 Super Tucano.

Then, Boeing 737 reconnaissance aircraft, C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, CN 295, CN-235, and EC-725 Caracal, NAS-332 helicopters, as well as EC-120 Colibri helicopters as SAR standby.

The MOT exercise aims to train combat, transport, reconnaissance and helicopter pilots to be able to cooperate with ground forward air control (GFAC) and Radar Ground Controlled Interception (GCI) units.

There are at least five operating mission schemes in this exercise, namely large force employment (LFE).

Then offensive counter air (OCA) against the integrated air defense system (IADS) during the day. Then, offensive counter air (OCA) against IADS at night.

The Mirage 2000 is a great aircraft if run and paid for by France - for any other country it has proven to be a huge financial burden right down to fiasco in regards to maintenance and upgrading issues.
