I see weapon training, not weapon. The news doesnt say about when the plane start coming and for TOT I believe it is maintenance TOT for PT NTP.

So Defense Satellite program is still going on, it must be similar with previous plan with Airbus, which mean maybe we can avoid paying some fine due to the previous cancellation.

Judging from Prabowo's word and Parly's tweet, we can expect another contract coming soon(ish).

TOT for defense satellite is interesting to watch, as I only see 2 Indonesian companies CEO on the pictures given by Jatosin,

1. Gita Amperiawan ( PTDI new CEO) which I believe related to PT NTP as PTDI subsidiary companies for OFSET of Rafale in engine maintenance
2. PT PAL CEO which is related to Naval Group on submarine building program
3. Satellite ??
4. Ammunition ??

Judging from Prabowo's word and Parly's tweet, we can expect another contract coming soon(ish).

I dont expect it to come soon as it is related to Planning Minister and Finance Minister ( and Jokowi approval). Even another order is still a question mark, but I expect it will likely to complete into 16 planes so another 10 planes order could happen but IMO it only could happen in the next administration after all planes are arrived and we are satisfied with the order and all OFSET and TOT are given as promise.

Both Prabowo and Parly just want to get political score on the event. Parly will not want to say it is just for 6 planes for France public and media.

We will see in April as AH has stated, but I dont expect there is another order before all planes arrive in Indonesia, just like how previous history of our military acquisition tells.

Have you seen the Air Force plan meeting video in early 2021 ? I have posted the video some months ago here.

The truth is Air Force only has 8 billion USD foreign loan approval, and MRCA is only for 1.6 billion USD foreign loan (approved by Bapenas), later SMI slash it into 1.1 billion USD. That is for entire 2020-2024 period.

Total foreign loan for defense budget is around 18 billion USD for 2020-2024 period which include all branches-approved by Bappenas but still has the chance to be slashed by Finance Minister. The program that has already got approval by SMI is just 5.8 billion USD foreign loan funded so far and according to AH the RMP given by SMI in 2022 budget is only able to cover some portion of that 5.8 billion USD foreign loan approval programs.

SU 35 budget being used for this order is just statement made by France media. Actually I dont know whether Finance Minister has allocated budget for Su 35 acquisition ? If there is program that is not absorbed within one fiscal year, it can be used for the next year by Defense Minister that will be included in next year defense budget. There is definition like SAL ( sisa anggaran lebih ) and there is flexibility in using it.
