Seriously, a foreign policy is based on CAPABILITY, not on intention. You can be the most pacifist and kind nation on the planet, but if you cannot defend yourself, then you WILL get attacked, or subdued diplomatically at least. I think it's naive to say that being strong can ever be a bad thing, on extreme cases you see that countries who gave up their nukes always immediately got f*cked over by great powers (despite the rhetoric of "peaceful" nuclear non-proliferation). The reality is that reality itself is not a constant, you can shape reality, and it is always changing, and to shape reality and react to the changing situations, you need strength.

F5 already retired years ago and there is still no replacement, even hawk also getting older and older and need to be replaced some where in the future, If Tempo is complaining about the price then its is still okay for me but if they say something about not buying new alutsista then I disagree with them.

Breaking news: Journo learns that military equipment is expensive as fuk and not only that the process would take years, and its not as simple as buying veggies in the traditional market.

What is this Alman guy trying to convey here, I think it has been clear that F-15ID isn't going to be a downgrade and in fact become one of the few with EPAWSS equipped.

And about the accusation that we are deliberately set aside in favor of SG and AU, that also depends on us too. That's politics for you, tho it's our part that determines whether we buy something or not, either sooner or later, lobbying is key and this is not always a one-sided affair.
