So much this. I saw pictures of the Kopassus K9 unit wearing their unique camo and black vest with big-white Kopassus stencil across the vest. I get that it's only a demo for the public, but I hate that the army seems to give out the impressions that the concept of "quiet professionals" is lost to them, even though I know that it's not and there are quiet few operators out there that are staying true to their craft

I'm inclined to agree on this, with our rather limited budget I feel the prioritization should be on improving the quality of resources (human, equipment, infrastructure, etc.) within TNI

Ya, better spend the money to give better equipments head to toe for troops in the field and spend more money for education especially to improve English proficiency to all of our troops.

All equipment from Kodam hasanudin only? Or they got support from other TNI unit from somewhere else.

Each Kodam should have equipment and capability to handle HDR ops, medium to large scale, while logistics can be supplied from other place like Java.

Its not impossible we got several large scale natural disaster at the same time at different place, from sabang - merauke its very big area and we are very prone to natural disaster.

Btw How many BRS ship that the navy want to have?
