ASuW = Anti Surface WarfareWhat I mean is Anti Submarine Warfare.
Is it ASW, ASuW, ASUW ?
If you want and ASW Heli, just go for H160M which meant to replace DauphinWhat I mean is Anti Submarine Warfare.

I don't think Cougar is a capable platform for ASW. I hope some or all new cougar capable to do ASW to equipped our AH140 and Fremm (and maybe 30ffm too).wow, cougar for AL ? remind us back years ago to puma AL
how many panthers had a complete ASW suite ? no news bout that
there is Super Lynx for dedicated asw for complementary panther if we want to buy new platform, not h225m i thoughtI don't think Cougar is a capable platform for ASW. I hope some or all new cougar capable to do ASW to equipped our AH140 and Fremm (and maybe 30ffm too).
There is something wrong with our NAVY mindset.Don't know why the preference for smaller helo platform here.
Most major navy are using medium to heavy helicopter for ASW duties.
MH-60R, SH-60 , AW101,SH-90 etc.
Larger helo = more loiter time = greater endurance.
Local production card i guess?Don't know why the preference for smaller helo platform here.

Am sure the cougar have the space and power to accommodate ASW suite.Local production card i guess?
No I mean from forum member here, why is no one advocating for a larger helo platform. There is something wrong with our NAVY mindset.
I even doubt AH140 or Fremm got the contract if higher up didn't push it to them.
One of the reason I glad 01 choose AP.
@Anmdt btw the cougar are also assembled here by PT.DIAm sure the cougar have the space and power to accommodate ASW suite.
Personally I think the choice for Panther platform are due to the available deck space on most ID navy frigate/Corvette which is very small.
Hope they induct a larger ASW platform once the incoming frigate orders are inducted in the fleet.
I rather meant it for SH60 - MH60 AW101 etc. After merging twice i am totally confused with their designation and naming helicopters (AS, then EC now Airbus Helicopters). Is Cougar ASW still being offered?@Anmdt btw the cougar are also assembled here by PT.DI
Goblin, you said?Your language remind me of how ork or goblin warlord said
While, yes, it's true that American / Western AFV are generally more comfortable compared to the Russian ones, but BTR-50 is 1.2 meter shorter and half of the weight of LVTP-7 while carrying just one short of personnel (20 vs 21).Korps Marinir AS (USMC) Berencana Jual AAV (LVTP-7), Indonesia Wajib Monitor
Still better creature comfort than a BTR/BMP series.
Sorry, can't resist
Imo that should be standard to have 10~11 tons capable helicopter deck on all ASW oriented vessels whether it is corvette or frigate.
