Hopefully we could retained the strales gun
Yeah, at the very least we should be thankful that nobody in our navy's high command is crazy enough to call our naval ships as "combat raft" or "getek tempur".one for sure, whatever it will called later. the tonnage is above formidable and maharajalela class.
Hmm, anti-submarine missile? Wonder how it works. Is it kinda similar in principle with RBU-6000 in our parchim albeit guided one?MILAS should be part of the weapon package
Nope, different from RBU-6000, more like long range lightweight torpedo standoff launching system. There are large difference on range and guidance system.Hmm, anti-submarine missile? Wonder how it works. Is it kinda similar in principle with RBU-6000 in our parchim albeit guided one?
Anyway, this was the first result I got when I googled MILAS:

If it is getting realized then PAL can not "ngeles" again, their KCR is ...

Pretty much an Otomat missile body and propulsion mated with MU90 lightweight torpedo as a payload/warhead. It will fly to the targeted destination (guided by other ASW asset like heli or plane), drop it's payload (MU90 torpedo), the torpedo will hang down on parachute to slowly enter the water and begin to scan and track any hostile sub-surface vessel with active sonar at the suspected depth.

it all comes to choice of propulsion, if the navy requested the ship to generate power only enough to propel the ship at 28 knots, what could we say then ??If it is getting realized then PAL can not "ngeles" again, their KCR is ...
No, more like rocket launched torpedo.Similar with ASROC?

Not only about speed but also like ship design(room allocation etc), stability, endurance etc.it all comes to choice of propulsion, if the navy requested the ship to generate power only enough to propel the ship at 28 knots, what could we say then ??
The design have two kind of fin to help with stabilization, the one that stretch long across the hull that work passively and the long protruding one with active stabilization, I think our KCR don't have it.
You know that in the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", it mentions that "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" is number 42?Not only about speed but also like ship design(room allocation etc), stability, endurance etc.
Btw what's with the 28 knot, even AH140 also have 28 knot speed or something, why are we too obsessed with this particular number? If FREMM also have 28 knot speed then its confirmed 28 is sacred number for our navy.
The "super computer" took a long time just to find that answer. You know that in the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", it mentions that "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" is number 42?
It's quite a possibility that the number 28 is something like that for our Navy. Or not.
Whatever it may be, 28 is a nice round number that in a person's age it should be around or at their peak.
Twenty-eight knots is life!
Well it's 27 knots, even worse than the sacred number. But let us see if TNI wants a better engine or not. This one then? https://www.taisshipyards.com/en/lpc-65-asuw-asw-aaw

This could be seen as welcoming European power to do power balance game in SCS. Indo Pacific geographically is not related to European Nations.
