Bold: I don't think that is the case though, the navy has been dealing with gas turbine propulsion since 1977. With Rolls-Royce Olympus TM-3B on 3 Fatahillah-class corvette and 1 Ki Hajar Dewantara-class Training Frigate, also General Electric-Fiat LM2500 on 4 Mandau-class FAC.
Then why did they prioritize it in deals with Turkish shipyards?

Who knows? AFAIK the problem in the navy for gas turbine is always revolve around operational cost (insufficient operational & maintenance budget).

Apart from LM2500, how often TM3B is turned on?

Not much IMO, the only TM-3B left is onboard KRI Nala, and last I heard one of her engine caught fire around 2009, my guess it's the TM-3B that caught fire and probably already non operational or removed during the following repair works.

TB2 and more scan eagle ?
I'm betting on something larger , as for the scan eagle looks like they're adding them to be used as additional eyes and ears onboard more KRI's.

Yeah, personally I much prefer Anka / Aksungur/ Akinci for Indonesia.

I think Bayraktar TB-2 would not add much compared to existing CH-4 in terms of loiter time.

But if its heavy HALE drones like Aksungur/Akinci. Could we even afford more than 10 like earlier Turkish report ?

Anyway its nice seeing more and more attention to ISR capability. Knowing where your enemy is half the battle.
