Exactly how many months?
Depends on block assembly speed: number of cranes, capacity of cranes. Maximum weight of a single block is restricted by both the crane capacity and pre-assembly experience.
Can be down to 1-2 months if all pre-assembled blocks are ready (such an automation and well planned flow is present), as well as up to 1.5 years with casual single hull plan.
It depends on bottleneck of the shipyard.

this is crunch

They did it very quick once the occupied dock was clear, the other new ship will be took it. I wonder did PT PAL only has one dock for shipbuilding process that could be use one at a time, if it so there'll be more streched schedule for locally made warship.

currently PT PAL has 2 dry docks,
-blue- 300+ meter, 50.000 ton capacity is used to use to assembly the ships in produce,
-green- 230 meter 20.000 ton capacity is ussually use to maintenance only,
-red- and the other facilities is small ship fabrication, like kcr 60

I think we have to improve our shipyard capabilities, not only depending on PT PAL, must include private shipyard to collaborate, such as PT. DRU, Palindo, Tesco, Citra Shipyard, etc. PT PAL has capabilities on Modular knowledge, they should be transfer it to other shipyard to build some modul and then integrate it in PT PAL. As far as I know PT PAL built the LPD & KCR modular but the modul construct in the same area too (PT. PAL)

as far that i know PT Bandar abadi shipyard got the capability to build block (even though they are in the early stages) and the facility that they got is quite good.

Indonesia lays down country's third purpose-built hospital ship

by Ridzwan Rahmat

Indonesian state-owned shipbuilder PT PAL has laid down the keel for another naval hospital ship.

The vessel, which will be the third purpose-built hospital ship to be operated by the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) once it is commissioned, was laid down on 21 January at PT PAL’s warship division in Surabaya. First steel for the vessel was cut in September 2020.

The TNI-AL currently operates one South Korean-built hospital ship, KRI Dr Soeharso (990), and one interim hospital ship, KRI Semarang (594). The latter has been built to amphibious assault vessel specifications but is operating temporarily as a makeshift medical platform to fulfil service gaps.

The ship that was laid down on 21 January is the second purpose-built hospital ship to be constructed in Indonesia, with the first being the future KRI Dr Wahidin Soedirohusodo (991), which was launched on 7 January also in Surabaya.

^^ KRI Semarang will be redesignated back as an amphibious assault LPD once the gap for hospital ship is fulfill.

Btw cmiiw this hospital ship is came from TA 2021 right? So we will get another hospital ship in TA 2022? TA 2020 is for KRI dr.Wahidin Soedirohusodo (991).

The precident want at least 3 BRS, is it mean that only 2 new BRS, and one former KRI Tanjung Dalpele ?

This kind of design would be great if it's operate by BNPB. I believe BNPB should at least have 1 hospital ship in their fleet.
I think more about BRS from LST for BASARNAS, since it could do beaching in case of unaccessible harbour. But also came in smaller size tho.
