If funds are low, reduce the FREMM acquisition to just 3 units, then order another new model

IMO we can abandon both FREMM and PPA and build more FMP, but if it is a must to get ships from Italy and we need to choose between FREMM or PPA then I think we should choose FREMM.

PAL have experience building SIGMA and now FMP. I think they should gather their courage and come up with their own design for frigate sized warship. Using inspiration from building SIGMA and FMP to make a basic frigate sized warship with OK SeWaCo but with increased endurance and range and use it for OPV, then as time goes by develop and improve it or make new design based from the experience from the previous design until we have frigate/destroyer with advanced AAW, ASuW, ASW and EW.

I don't think allocated loan is enough for that
2 billion for 2 ships?

Quite sad PPA doesnt have hull mounted sonar. But what piqued my interest, they could fit PPA with HWT launcher. Plus the 40 knots speed.

Indonesia Initiates Contract Negotiations for Two Scorpene Evolved Submarines

When the contract is approved, both submarines will be fully built at the PT PAL Surabaya facility with the assistance of the French Naval Group.

TSM-Representatives from the French shipyard Naval Group have arrived in Jakarta to begin contract negotiations for two lithium-ion battery-equipped Scorpene Evolved diesel-electric submarines (SSK).

Separate sources have confirmed that negotiations for the potential contract began at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) office on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat on February 26. The key points of discussion include how the program will be funded if the contract materializes.

As part of its offer, Naval Group has partnered with the French government's Directorate General of Finance to fully finance the program through three sources of loans.

This includes a credit facility with the French Banque publique d'investissement and direct loans from the Directorate General of the Treasury, which will fund up to 85% of the Naval Group's contract portion.

The third loan source, to be arranged with an unspecified private commercial lender, will fund the remaining 15% of the Naval Group's contract portion and up to 100% of the state-owned shipbuilding company PT PAL's portion in the contract.

The submarine procurement contract will involve both companies as part of a technology transfer agreement. Under this agreement, both submarines will be entirely constructed in Surabaya, with construction work on the first submarine scheduled to begin 14 months after the effective date of the contract and after funding sources and initial payments have been secured. If you order a new one then you can have it built with hull mounted sonar, just request it.

Very nice.

But how's the progress with the ship lift and transfer system for the submarine facility.
