Yes, dimension wise those boats are on the same class as our KCR 60s. But IMO, they have different functions. Considering Ukraine has smaller water teritory (the Black Sea only) than us, they seem going to utilize these boats as efficient platform to carry anti-ships and anti-air missiles (focusing on more space for CIC, weapon instalation, ammo storage)
From news I read sometimes ago, Ukraine Navy HQ in Crimea was captured by The Russian during the Crimea annexation, along with most of Ukraine Navy's major combatant ships. No idea though, have Ukraine frigates and corvettes returned by The Russian or not. This might lead Ukraine to replace those captured ships with temporary alternatives.
In our case, such tasks are carried by frigates so our KCRs main duty for now are doing patrols (focusing on more space for accomodations, fuels, water and food supplies), but they still retain some anti-ship capability (not sure for the radar and missile spec & readiness tho)

They can actually, as they already in possession of some cutting tools (CNC Plasma) ,there is 1000 tonnes bending machine and so on. Their workshop quite spacious

To note, they are in process to build 5500 tonnes Oiler ship for the Navy

This is the good news I want to hear a long time ago, I hope not only Batamec will have ability to construct the module, but other shipyard too, and one shipyard as place for integration module. I believe with this strategy we could speed up frigate or corvette construction.

Found an old Spiegel article about the German U216 offer to Australia. The price mentioned is $16 bil for 12 submarines. So about $1.33 bil per sub.

Not sure we can afford this.

The Germans probably offer us a brand new design that's not as big, nor as advanced as U216.

Heck, even the much shorter and lighter U218SG cost them $900 mil per sub.

I won't use Australia as a comparison. Their acquisition price tends to be bloated due to customization and local production/supplier, just see their SPH acquisition program.
