If the "imaginary" assault ops let our Marines units goes deep into enemy hinterland all the way from the shore, that's only mean their Air Force is no more a threatIf we are talking about offensive ops on a very big land masses, our marines will only stick close to the shore lines and let the army to push deeper inland? Or will they work together with the army units.
Btw do we need facility to build ship indoor somewhere in the future? With/without dry dock.
Current PAL submarine facility also can be used to build something around KCR60 size, do we need bigger facility?
I think you are forgetting a crucial detail, here. That will be really good, and order lots of it not only just for the marines but the army and air force.
Is it good or bad?
They have a good taste, as long as they not follows other branch tasteIs it good or bad?

Something something branch-specific systems something something egoAnd what that would be?
I feel like they could just save a lot more money by putting a Rheinmetall Skyranger on a Kaplan MT or Pandur II chassis. Can't speak for biho but korkut has it
ACV-30 hull made by FNSS so pindad can be contracted to produce it like kaplan mt. Choice is easy no need to look further...
EEEY GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK HERE SIR @Chestnut, its been a long time..I feel like they could just save a lot more money by putting a Rheinmetall Skyranger on a Kaplan MT or Pandur II chassis.

A Rheinmetall Skyranger 35 would legit just be easier to procure and maintain for the Navy since it uses the same parts and ammo as the CIWS on their ships.
Korkut can be built using the existing GDF cannons, also one-one to replaceable spare parts makes it easy to maintain . I really doubt if the skyranger can, also it seems Indonesia is not big fan of the GDF thus makes skyranger more attractable.EEEY GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK HERE SIR @Chestnut, its been a long time..
yup only if other matra want to use the same equipment, but i think Turkish Korkut is also a good option, since Korkut and Rheinmetall Skyshield share the same calibre
Navy operates only two millenium gun if i am not mistaken. Could be wise only for the training, but for maintenance it doesn't make sense to fit it onto two.I feel like they could just save a lot more money by putting a Rheinmetall Skyranger on a Kaplan MT or Pandur II chassis.

No but the Air Force also operates the millennium gun as point defense guns as well. It would make a lot more sense to have something like the Skyranger 35 and mate it onto an existing platform that Pindad can already produce itself. Much like Gepard or the Type 009 SPAAG.Korkut can be built using the existing GDF cannons, also one-one to replaceable spare parts makes it easy to maintain . Plus there has been hints of a newer Korkut with single barrel, 40mm and longer range but it hasn't been unveiled yet maybe they have chosen to streamline the turret using the feedbacks from Gökdeniz.

What matters most is the CIWS on FREMM / Arrowhead / Mogami, if they are common; better if they choose their manufacturer as the supplier of the project.
+ Kaplan MT is an expensive hull, plus it has got the engine on back thus Kaplan NG is needed here.
See what did I tell you all, they use it as an actual KPI, turun renk tapi gesDoesnt matter, whats important is our GFP ranking keeps improving. It's a number game guys, come on.
Hey, dont you dare mocking at "Perwira Tinggi" research !the F with using GFP as reference? stupid as stupid goes
IMO the way I see it this could represent a deeper organizational problem, which I hope not. Why are we using GFP as a metric? Do we not have our own dimension to measure our capability? It looks as if the policymakers are so keen to get into the dick-measuring contest tbhthe F with using GFP as reference? stupid as stupid goes
