So, this is the first time we have confirmation that the Ministry of Defense initially wanted to equip the FMP with MICA and BrahMos missiles.

Flat top platform!!??
Is this real or just a wishful thinking, if it's true, what kind of flat tops we're looking for?
4 Destroyer will be great though

As a naval architect and partly involved with navy people of my country, this doesn't seem feasible from multiple aspects. I would start with crew.

MICA comes with flexible layout thanks to the individual cell design, however that would be such a waste for this platform to allocate a VLS spot with non-adaptable MICA launchers.

Slyver comes in 8 packs. So i would hope it is 3 x Sylver A50 (minimum). Otherwise big win for lobbies.

When Indonesian are putting their mind into something . Crew availability were never become a problem . It's the quality side of the equation that always come into the question ...
Sink or swim mentality were too much hard wired into the psyche of this nation .
Try to look up the " matjan tutul " incident for a references ....
Life is cheap here ....

Not quite different in here, the ship swims nevertheless, as long as the captain knows the pull the maneuvers and port entries&departures, a voyage is not a big issue nowadays as machinery and whatsoever is automated at great extends.

I have spoken even merely from perspective orienteering of base crew to merely operate those ships, the naval academy should have increased the quote and give basic and advanced training to more cadets. Also account for the different platforms thus more crew to be deployed abroad for training (except of the OPVs possibly).

10 major combatants mean at least 200 core specialist personnel that completed advanced training (specialization) and fluent in english to absorb the orienteering. The rest of the crew could be somehow acquired thanks to the human resources factor but these 200 are specialists.

you should remember, in indonesia millions of people queue to be enlisted. not soo hard to search potential member of navy even from university with higher portfolio like fluent in english, higher IQ etc, ..becoming part of indonesian armed forces is a previlledge, no need anime or gundam to attrack young peoples with higher standard of education to join armed forces

I don't think you can magically train more people by putting more into the classes.
