2 I-class frigates for Indonesia?
if you take the one that is being built is okay, to accelerate its presence like PPA but if you build from scratch hopefully change it like Tf2000Log into Facebook

2 I-class frigates for Indonesia?
Turkey is currently building 3 Istif class ships. While it is not impossible for one or two of them to be transferred to Indonesia, I don't see it happening because navy is growing at a nearly exponential rate and they need ships to replace old ones. Maybe transfer one and one new build, could be interesting.if you take the one that is being built is okay, to accelerate its presence like PPA but if you build from scratch hopefully change it like Tf2000
Do you know how long to buil istif class.? Coz Indonesia looking for new ship fast , coz last MOD fail to build new shipTurkey is currently building 3 Istif class ships. TF-2000 is about to start first production and it is by no means ready for export I think.
First one took ages due to planning and subsystem embargoes that required almost all weapons and radar systems to be changed. Next ones were ordered in 2023 and second ship is expected for 2026 with other 2 to follow very closely.Do you know how long to buil istif class.? If TF2000 not available, than Louyang will be our destroyer ...
May i know how much does its cost? Roughly.
There are rumours around military enthusiats, that TF2000 will be the contender against the type 52D, 2 + 2 for AL Destroyer. 2 luyang, others will be TF2000.
While type 52D is known as cheaper options than the european counterparts, i dont know about the TF2000.
From China or Iran? The boxes seem like a new varian, and also assuming China suppliers Iran's "domestic" programs, it could be from both.which one ?
seems from China
I can only estimate the price for TN, but it also involves negotiations between the procurement office (SSB) and the contractors (Aselsan, Roketsan, etc.) who are also the companies they manage.

It won't take more than 4 years, the current pace is closer to 3.5 years, for 2 hulls without local construction in Indonesia. If TF2000 not available, than Louyang will be our destroyer ...
No destroyer no party ...
also If Istif class take more than 4 years to build, maybe our DoD will change the project
I think TR now builds 7 I-Class. The shipyards have started steel cutting for some more hulls, and keel-laying may be imminent.Turkey is currently building 3 Istif class ships. Kan....told you....i even make a list of it at my late postIstif, FDI, PPA, Mogami
Well go round about, yet at the end of the day we ll only buy 2 hullKan....told you....i even make a list of it at my late post

So roughly we can say that without weapons it will be $500M+ (FY2024) per ship with the current layout.

If there is a requirement for construction in Indonesia and also systems integration to be done locally (or through training of personnel) then it will certainly be 4.5 to 5 years in total.
In any case, it is not feasible or possible to deliver 2 vessels within 1-2 years.

TF-2000 may not be ready for export any time soon, they may join the project; at least indirectly, by providing certain requirements for ease of modification later in the production design stage, but apart from that the chance of "cooperation" or "export" is close to absolute zero until the first hull is launched.
Don't forget thisIstif, FDI, PPA, Mogami
AAW Mogami 140++m.
They want it fast so Indonesia would take Turkish Navy allotment (maybe Izmit and Icel)
Indonesian Second Fleet (our main Armada) is in preparation for transfer of four unit Parchim class to First Fleet, means they are prepared to accept similar number of hulls (most likely PPA and Istif) , meanwhile Indonesia 3rd fleet is in preparation to accept two Opv 90 class and more order would be commenced soon
Well, they try to improve but one of the suppliers is.... complicated
I honestly don't think the Turkish Navy will be okay with that. They have waited a long time for these ships.
They might might be okay with one but two? Unlikely in my opinion.
I am not saying this is impossible but hard, Turkish Navy is also not in a very good position and needs new, capable platforms as soon as possible. They may agree with sale of hulls from second batch orders but the first batch is expected soon.I am heard they are willing to provide three warships actually
OPV repeat order, or also PPA batch ii?They want it fast so Indonesia would take Turkish Navy allotment (maybe Izmit and Icel)
