Ditjen Pothan Kemhan RI telah melaksanakan The 10th Defence Industry Coopertion Committee (DICC) dengan Republik Korea (ROK) pada hari Kamis tanggal 16 September 2021 di Gedung R. Suprapto Jakarta, Indonesia. Delegasi Indonesia dipimpin oleh Dirjen Pothan Kemhan Kemhan RI Mayjen TNI Dadang Hendrayudha dan delegasi ROK dipimpin oleh Director General International Cooperation Bureau Defence Acquisition Program Administration Mr. KIM, Saeng. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh perwakilan Ditjen Pothan Kemhan, Ditkersinhan Ditjen Strahan Kemhan, KKIP, TNI AD, TNI AL, TNI AU, Kementerian Luar Negeri, dan Industri Pertahanan (PTDI, PT. PAL, PT. Pindad, PT. Len Industri, PT. TMI, PT. NTP, PT. Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta, PT. Fazza Royal Yantasir Simulasi, PT. Merpati Maintenance Faciity, PT. Cambria Pertahanan Indonesia, PT. Multipar Sapta Tama dan Indo Defence Expo & Forum PT. Napindo Media Ashatama). Kegiatan diawali dengan Opening Remarks dari kedua belah pihak.
Dalam pertemuan ini Dirjen Pothan Kemhan menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia dan Korea memiliki hubungan bilateral dalam berbagai bidang kerja sama termasuk dalam sektor industri pertahanan yang telah meningkat secara signifikan. Pandemi Covid-19 telah menguji kemampuan kedua negara untuk mempertahankan pencapaian target bilateral kerjasama pertahanan dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi komunikasi.
Beberapa produk militer Korea telah memperkuat Militer Indonesia seperti pesawat T50i, KT-1 Wong Bee, Panzer, Cannon Towing Vehicle, KH-178/179 serta Sub Marine. Sejalan dengan peraturan hukum Industri Pertahanan Indonesia, pemerintah Indonesia harus memberdayakan dan mendorong Industri Pertahanan untuk lebih
berperan dalam memenuhi keperluan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia sehingga Industri Pertahanan Indonesia dituntut untuk mengembangkan kemampuan memproduksi artikel militer baik melalui riset independen atau bekerja sama dengan negara-negara sahabat termasuk Korea.
Pertemuan ini bertujuan untuk mencapai kesepakatan dan solusi serta keputusan yang menguntungkan kedua belah pihak. Semua upaya, diskusi dan kesepakatan diletakkan dalam bentuk persahabatan yang dapat dimplementasikan dalam langkah-langkah yang nyata dan strategis untuk memajukan industri pertahanan kedua belah pihak. Disela-sela kegiatan, First Secretary of DAPA Korea Mr. KIM Hyunwook melaksanakan Courtesy Call kepada Dirjen Pothan Kemhan Mayjen TNI Dadang Hendrayudha untuk memperkenalkan diri sebagai perwakilan DAPA Korea di Jakarta, Indonesia.

On September 21, 2021, PTDI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Havelsan regarding the Aircraft Simulator collaboration for the N219 aircraft. The signing will be witnessed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives as well as the Coordinator for Industry and Development (Korinbang), Rachmat Gobel.

So it seems that N219 doesn't have build in ladder (had to carry a portable one?) in which I think "a plus" for an airplane that oriented to serve remote area.
And can it be modified with rolled up door (anything beside those outswing doors) for paradrop purpose?
And is it true what AH said that N219 not ready for FAR part 23?

Indonesia holds offset talks with Abeking & Rasmussen for new hydrographic ship
Indonesia's Ministry of Defense (MoD) held a virtual meeting with German shipbuilder Abeking & Rasmussen to discuss the possible procurement of an ocean-going hydrographic vessel.
According to meeting documents provided to Janes by a government source, the event was held virtually on 3 September.
The meeting was headed by Director General of Defense Potential, Brigadier General Aribowo Teguh Santoso, while Abeking & Rasmussen officials were accompanied by representatives from the company's local agent PT Agrapana Nugraha Katara.
Also present during the meeting were representatives from Indonesian shipbuilders, PT Palindo Marine, PT Batamec, and PT Bandar Abadi, state-owned electronics company PT Len, and the deans of the machining and electro-informatics faculties at the Bandung Institute of Technology.

Government Prepares Budget of IDR 29.5 Trillion for defense strengthening
President Joko Widodo has signed Presidential Regulation number 85 of 2021 concerning the Government Work Plan (RKP) for 2022.
One of the work plans contained in the attachment to the regulation is related to strengthening defense.
There are two indicators in the work plan.
The first relates to the fulfillment of the minimum essential force (MEF) reaching 86%. Both contributions from the defense industry reached 50%.
To carry out the plan, the government has prepared a budget of Rp 29.5 trillion.
The budget is prepared for various program activities.
Procurement of 23 types of main weapons system equipment (defense equipment) amounting to Rp 12.64 trillion.
In addition, there is also maintenance and care for 20 types of defense equipment worth Rp 8.14 trillion.
The government through the Ministry of Defense will also build 5 defense facilities and infrastructure with a budget of Rp 746.62 billion.
There is also the construction of 25 types of facilities and infrastructure for the professionalism and welfare of soldiers, which were built with a budget of Rp 4.86 trillion.
The Ministry of Defense will also build a cyber defense system in 2022 with a budget of Rp 38.72 billion.
The government will also procure 5 types of defense and security equipment (alpalhankam) for the defense industry worth Rp 3.14 trillion.
For information, in 2022, the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBN) will increase.
In 2022, the Ministry of Defense's RAPBN is Rp. 133.9 trillion, up from 2021, which is Rp. 118.2 trillion.
