F405 Adour is an old engine. TF-6000 will be a very modern engine and I think it will be a very compact engine.

Original Adour Turbomeca IS an old design. But this engine has gone through well over a dozen different modernisation and renewal programs. In it’s current guise it has FADEC, totally new fan and a combustor, and new HP turbine and LP turbine stages. It’s dry thrust level has gone up to 6500lbf and it’s service life has been doubled thanks to newer tech being implemented.
It’s name and original design parameters may have been old but the current engine has been revamped with modern relevant technology. Another advantage of the Adour was it’s stealthy design. Jaguar planes had much better RCS thanks to Adour.
Until TF6000 becomes operational, it can be an ideal gap filler engine. In between the lines of what TEI officials say , one can understand that TF6000 won’t be ready for testing for another year. Then there are tests and integration and serial production stages. (TS1400 is a good example) . If Ukrainian engine source has dried up, RR’s “Old” Adour could do the job better than the Motor Sich engine.

TF6000 class engines have a wide variation of applications ranging from fighter jets, trainers, business jets and pipeline pumps, fast attack boats to possibly cruise missiles and of course UCAVs.

Adour family dry thrust ranges from 5.000 to 8.000 lbf, with modifications to bypass ratios.
Honeywell also has a wide family in this class.

The price is $3mn a piece.

TF-6000 is designed for unmanned systems and using engines on unmanned systems is easier because it is military hardware and no human is involved so there are fewer certification problems. At some point, the engine will be mounted on an unmanned system, and certification for manned military aircraft and civilian aircraft will continue in parallel. There will be a big update in 2023 and probably a live demonstration and 2025 is a target date for TF-6000 integration into MIUS or similar systems. TEI wants TF-6000 to be the best engine in its class which means it will be either a very compact design compared to engines with similar thrust (i think this should be the way to go) or it will have a thrust advantage over engines with similar sizes.

does the tf6000 really exist? are we sure?
Lol is this really a question? There are engineers on LinkedIn and the job description on their profiles says they are working for the TF-6000, TS-1400 project, etc.

As an outsider I have personally seen a turbojet model of an engine alongside the mockups of TS1400 at trade shows in Istanbul. That engine is supposedly evolved into a turbofan engine. So the time frame starts at the same time as the TS1400 or close to it. Look for images of TEI stand at IDEF2017 and 2019.

To produce a gas turbine engine that would yield a turbojet, a tuboshaft, a turboprop and a turbofan from the same core, whilst using the same parts in most of the engine, is a dream of all engine manufacturers. Unfortunately due to different end use parameters and required specific thrust and power needs for specific missions for which these engines are destined, this dream is very difficult to realise.
However, Rolls Royce, with it’s T406-AD400 engine, has actually succeeded in achieving this dream;
T406-7 class engines produced by Allison Engine Company which is owned by RR, with their 6-7000lHP output, power the famous V22 Osprey tilt motor planes.
The AE-211A turboprop engine which has been produced from the same core, powers the 50seat Saab 200 passenger planes and the C-130 military transport planes.
AE-3007A Turbofan engine with it’s 9500lbf dry thrust, is also produced from the same core and powers the Embraer jets and the latest Cessna jet planes.
All these engines are of axial flow design and are 14 stage engines. But they are in different configurations. This is a good example of economy in engine manufacturing.

If the TF6000 is designed as a compact-power engine it should have a high compression ratio with 12-14 compressor stages. Considering TEI is good at blisk work this makes sense. This approach lends itself to engine cores that can power engines with a range of power levels. I am guessing it will be comparable to modern RR engines of similar power levels. This kind of engine core is also suitable for turboprop applications.

No wonder it is an elusive work as it will take on plenty of competition.

maybe i am not right landed on these threat but since the title about Turkish Industry, Science and Technology likely I will ask something about latest development about Akkuyu reactore is there any progress or development is stalled becaus latest condition for Russia?

and how about if there are like change to other tehcnologies are it is possible? like maybe japanese tech or euorpean one

No stalling. The project goes on full steam ahead. The dome of the first reactor is attached which is a big milestone. The first reactor is expected to start trials in 2023. Then another reactor will go online every year.

One Minute! What?

President Erdogan:
“The world no longer manufactures a product in any defense industry alone. It integrates these with the support from different countries and takes its steps in the defense industry accordingly.”
global manufacturers are preferred to develop a cost effective end product. this is quite natural. other way; it's as pointless as building a capacitor factory to produce a television.

That slogan does not involve making every component in Türkiye but making the components that you don't have access to otherwise at home. Making everything at home means you fall behind those that utilize foreign components. Who in their right minds would do that.

It seems that Amazon is entering Turkey
Quite late tbh as sites like Trendyol has a decent foothold in the market
Well, at least, this may encourage further American businesses to enter Turkey in the future

Amazon currently has a warehouse in Tuzla. Amazon is probably expanding the capacity of its Tuzla warehouse and turning it into a logistics base.
