TRUMP:

What happened last night is a clear indication of why our great Army, our Secret Service, our Law Enforcement, and every President of the last 150 years, for various reasons, have DEMANDED the construction of a large, safe, and secure Ballroom on the WHITE HOUSE GROUND.

This would never have happened if the Top Secret Military Ballroom, currently under construction in the White House, were already there.

Before the event even started, the White House spokesperson explicitly stated that "bullets will be flying." Trump is simply trying to justify building the new ballroom. That's all.
