Its always good seeing people going against Islamic theocratic dictatorships, but on the other hand if iran turns into another syria expect 20 million more refugees fleeing to Turkey.
No, Iranians aren't like Syrians or Afghans. Plus, once the regime is gone, the West would lift sanctions and pour billions into the country. It's more likely that Turks would emigrate to a filthy rich Iran than the other way around. 🙃

I agree that Iranians are not like Syrians, Afghans and Pakistanis. A more developed nation, the other thing you say is funny. Turks, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia etc. they go places, they don't go to Iran. :p

Expect about 20 million if it descends into a civil war.

Over Syria we ended up with about 10 million and still counting, a country like Iran with a population of 90 million is going to be another nightmare for Turkey.

The Azeri Turks would have little to no problems integrating within Turkey, but central and southern Iran isn't much different to Syria or Afghanistan culturally. And if were being honest Syrians culturally are very different to the Turkish people. Afghans are something else entirely.

Hello folks, Iranian media strictly censors these events, and the general propaganda is that they are an Israeli-US initiative. There are certainly support, but the regime paved the way for this. Obviously, if these events escalate, there is a risk that the intervention could be quite bloody.

Contrary to popular belief, I believe that the corrupt regime in Iran is more in our interests than a pro-Western regime. I'm not sure if this is a final test of reaction before the real bottom wave, but most of us agree that world politics has entered a very turbulent time. We need to have a strategy for every situation. From saving the regime to what to do if state authority is lost beyond our borders.

Hundreds of thousands of people who could afford left Iran already. Turkiye is the second largest destination, currently the Russians and Iranians are in the first place in housing sales. They are in the first place in Antalya. But at the same time, at least 20 of these permanent residents have recently been arrested recent months as part of some investigation, such as photographing certain facilities or industrial espionage. Careful intelligence is needed for every segment in Iran.

Syrians and Iranians are different culturally.

Syrians are Arabs while Iranians and Afghans are Iranic.

Huge difference. Then you have religion one is Sunni and the other is Shia while the languages are different.

We must invest in certain situation in Iran to keep our interests. We need a pro Turkish government. With a 25 mio Turkish population in Iran it should be possible.

Barely any Turkic nationalism in Iran apart from Azerbaijani Turks.

Most care about being Shia than Turk.

If only they knew what Persians think of them. Too bad most Turks who lived in Iran for centuries became Persianised.

If it is pro-Western, it will not nuclear, if it is pro-Western, we can trade very well as one of its closest neighbors. We wouldn't bother with Halkbank bullshit. Also, Azeri Turks would be freer.

the islamist theocratic regime installed such a terrible culture on that nation. Honestly nothing more detestable then religion being used to enslave an entire nation.

That's why Turks and Muslims of Turkey should be vigilant that Islamist shills never take over the nation, they would soon turn us back to the middle ages.

Imagine the islamist regime is so oppressive and backward that a woman cutting her hair in public becomes a revolutionary act.

And yet again the world gets to see images of a fanatical, repressive and utterly backward islamist society. Westerners get to see these images and look down at how backward the so called islamic world is.
