A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!

I really donot want to repost such speechbullshit, whatever, he is the president of America.

Destroying a country's infrastructure does not destroy its culture or identity. Iran's civilisation will be the same tomorrow as it is today, albeit materially poorer for the damage to its civilian infrastructure if Trump proceeds to commit the war crimes he threatens to commit.

PS IMO Trump is no more likely to force Iran to surrender by bombing its infrastructure to bits than Putin is likely to force Ukraine to surrender by bombing its infrastructure to bits.

I don’t think Trump understands the concepts of culture and civilization.

Keep in mind that he is an uneducated brute who probably thinks that civilization means five stars hotels and golf courses, and maybe industrial capabilities.

Anything that can’t be measured in billions of dollars is outside his understanding ability.

Donald Trump stood at the White House podium on 6 April 2026 and implied, for at least the third time on record, that he deserves credit for the death of Osama bin Laden — a man killed by US Navy SEALs on the orders of President Barack Obama in May 2011.

I would say there is increasing evidence that President Trump is suffering from delusions dangerous to all and is unfit to hold his post due to suffering mental problems. I hope he is removed before he does something desperately dangerous for all. Should he order use of nuclear weapons, I hope the US military would refuse to follow that order. In a sense that would be a good scenario - he would have to be removed from office forthwith. You can't have a situation in which the US forces refuse to obey orders from the US Commander-in-Chief.

We are heading towards a very very dark period.

For the moment, they have not touched oil facilities. Looks like they only hit military installations like radar sites.
The US government might now claim that they kept their word and hit the Kharg İsland as they promised. And that’s a good way to stop further escalation.

Israel currently appears to be in a position of weakness, and they may seek to correct this image with a harsh and uncompromising response.
Considering Israel’s policy of responding to attacks with disproportionate force, the recent ballistic missile strikes launched by Iran toward Israel have, so far, remained unanswered. This raises the possibility of a severe retaliation, potentially including a large-scale and prolonged air campaign—or, in a worst-case scenario, even a nuclear response. I sincerely hope this assessment proves to be wrong.
