obviously isreal wants some time to deal with lebanon alone, then they can divert their attentions back to iran. Basically pick them off one by one. This ceasefire i doubt lasts very long.

iranians shouldnt be celebrating, because what comes next will be worse then what they just experienced. They should be preparing themselves for total war.

I am curious, but how are the Gulf countries going to deal with this. They harbour US bases that was used to attack Iran. Are they going to suck it up for peace ?

US used the bases to attack Iran alongside the fighterjets.

Those refueling jets didn't fly back to US to reload fuel for the campaign.

So I am almost certain those Gulf countries will foot the bill and US will give something else in return. As I am certain US economy footing another bill for reconstruction of Iran would be very expensive.
You're not alone in your curiosity.
After all, this is the most important question for the entire Middle East.
It can be further clarified:
Will the US make Iran "great again," as Trump promised? 🙂
Or will they "destroy Iran as a civilization," as Trump promised? 🙂
Of course, the region is complex (I admit, architects labored for over two centuries, creating dozens of states on the site of just one – the Ottoman Empire), but that's understandable. But first, we need to understand Mr. Trump, and then the region. Trump is no less complex. 🙂
While the region hopes that some kind person from across the beautiful ocean will arrive on a huge aircraft carrier and solve all its problems, he won't solve them.
A "kind person" has absolutely no interest in solving other people's problems. Or rather, he's interested in the opposite: making them even more complicated! Even if he solves one minor problem, he will inevitably create two big ones right next to it. So they'll turn to him for "help" again.

After all, if he solves all the region's problems, no one here will need him anymore!

By the way, just a couple of hours after the bombing of Iran, Trump promised a "golden age" for the region🫢
Well, well! 🙂

How has Jordan been able to escape the fate of the rest of the Arab countries that entered the war ? Most of the attack aircraft are likely flying from Jordan, and not the Gulf countries.

Did Iran decide that Jordan was not worth it to waste missiles and better to maintain pressure on Israel and GCC? I would have thought at least the Houthis would have tried Jordan.

Seem like the Isreal is not going to follow the peace agreement at all.
And US is keeping transfer their soldier to Middle East.
Donnot they have feeling of shame?

I don't think anyone knows whats going on with the ceasefire, there doesn't even seem to be an actual agreed on plan
every side is saying different things

We'll see. If Iran is smart they'll try to pit Trump against Bibi. the harder the pressure on Trump the more he might be willing to smack Bibi with something that could fracture the relationship.

All Iran has to do is stick it out and bite hard if pressured or if the war resumes. Don't give Trump the respite he needs for the coming elections.

Well... let's see what's going to happen. I think US is going to put troops on the ground to control Hormuz. I wonder if Iran can bite back hard enough to deter this.

Israel currently appears to be in a position of weakness, and they may seek to correct this image with a harsh and uncompromising response.
Considering Israel’s policy of responding to attacks with disproportionate force, the recent ballistic missile strikes launched by Iran toward Israel have, so far, remained unanswered. This raises the possibility of a severe retaliation, potentially including a large-scale and prolonged air campaign—or, in a worst-case scenario, even a nuclear response. I sincerely hope this assessment proves to be wrong.
Israel, without US, have actually very limited options against Iran.In the 12 day june war, Israel was able to inflict damage to Iranian early warning and SAM networks yes using highly unique warfare methods that IRGC was not really expecting - the pager style warfare, partially suppressing Iranian counter fires and that's it.

On the other hand, US in the present conflict has systematically paralyzed the iranian state.
Its ballistic missile production industry is gone, steel industry gone, heavy damage to Petrochemical infrastructure, nuclear facilities hit badly, established ruling elite gone, Iran isolated in the region like never before, its proxies already cut in size, and its top academic infrastructure hit badly.

Iran as a civilization still stands because its one and only economic backbone - the oil industry is still spared.
Once Civilian and Energy Infrastructure is gone, it will be the systematic decapitation of Iranian civilization back to stone age and America would not allow it to recover as long as it's a Superpower.

Iranian leadership chose a wrong enemy.

And they live at the mercy of US and Israel. When the marionetter King is dead or toppled. Israel will occupy and expand their territory.
