Not really buying 'PKK-PYD' this time. This is not their style at all,
The terrorist was clearly a noob or instructed one, not a trained one.

She dressed up that way not to be misidentified, that was simply her own preference,

She could easily opt for a burka and nobody would lift a finger to her in Taksim.
With a burka there is no way she would be identified or trackes, could easily sneak away to Greece in 8 hours.

She could burn the clothes, she lives in a house with a wood stove, but somehow didn't.

PKK-PYD would form a one time use terrorist organization seeming aligned but not linked to them. And then that terrorist organization would declare it.

People points out she might be yazidi (hence the tattoo on forearm) since she is not looking like kurdish or arabic, but more north african and some yazidi but if she decided to chage her appearance why opt for something standing out like that?

That make up again, definitely not part of concealing her identity,

Not wearing a mask, she could wear one and gain few hours more to flee from there.

She goes to home, where she is known to reside. Who on earth goes back home after conducting a terrorist organization.

Definitely not PKK-PYD this time but clearly Iran backed shia militias from Syria-Iraq or simply a hired terrorist for them and instructed by their intelligence agencies. It is not late to call, but we need a policy change against Iran, this attack was cleverly plotted to belittle Turkey, not to inflict an economical and sociological damage. Note also it happened when Soylu was in Syria. We need to declare Iran as an eneny state before it is too late. They have been too much already.

Looking at the female suspect, she looks more like an Arab than a Kurd. Particularly northern African (Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco).
I'm just wondering whether it could be stemming from countries like Egypt, UAE, or KSA. Which means the gov't may have to cover it up not to harm the "warming relations".
Just a speculation.
Is it only me or she looks more like an African instead of Syrian? This attack does not make sense to me, it will just give Turkiye an excuse to start operation and crush YPG. It will turn YPG to a bloody terror group in the eyes of West and support Turkiye's claims, why they didn't send her from Kandil instead of Afrin? YPG cannot do such thing without US or others being notified, why would they want this at this time before election? It also supports Turkiye's pressure on Sweden and NATO. When a terror attack happens, one should focus on who is benefitting from it, I don't see any benefit for YPG personally. This does not mean I know who is behind but still I am suspicious that this has no benefit for YPG. Average people won't question what government of police say and accept it as 100% true, then start hate speech, request blood for blood etc.

Especially It is hard to believe what Interior Minister says for me, I have trust issues. We will see what will follows and who will be benefitted.

Edit: Apparently not only me...
The main problem with Turks in general is that they dont learn while, IRONICALLY, the PKK do learn but at an abysmal rate
The fact that there are those who believe that this wasnt initiated by the PKK is just pure sadness

Firstly, as @Fuzuli NL and @Cypro stated, the woman in question is 100% not of kurdish origin but is of an African descent. This means that the possibility ofher being an African-American volunteer within the ranks of the PKK is through the roof or she maybe an Arab who aids the PKK! Furthermore, other intelligence agencies normally has some sort of unique trend to their actions

1- Iranian sabotage is mainly involved around either assassination (just like the Mossad) or kidnapping ppl or blowing things up in Shia-dominant areas

Allow me to share a video posted by Ragip Soylu about how the PKK operates and what is their modus operandi regarding terrorist acts👇

Now just like how our respected member @Anmdt pointed it out, normally the PKK likes to boast about their terrorist acts. However, this time they Actually sent their condolences to the victims!! Does any member in this forum truly believe that the PKK actually feels sad for the loss of turkish lives? Hahaha a nice joke! So what does this indicate? It indicates that the PKK is slowly learning how to adapt and are trying to fix the faulty moves theu used to make; normally, if the PKK truly didnt do it, all what they will say is that "we didnt do it and that the govt is lying to justify more military operations against us" yet they somehow said "we didnt do it and we feel sorry for the lives lost and we would never target civilians" which is a clear indication that the PKK is evolving although they are still wet behind the ears👇

The even scarier aspect is how on earth did such a bomb pass all the checkpoints from Syria to Turkey? The answer is nearly impossible; thus, the only plausible explanation is that such a bomb was actually made inside Istanbul and this means that the PKK has already re-established an intricate network within the city! This comes amid the fact that PKK activity and propaganda have been soaring for the last 2 years thanks to a certain governor who has been turning a blind eye to PKK slogans being sung inside concert halls within Istanbul

As for @Cypro statements regarding the fact that this will just motivate Turkey to go further into Syria, then here is the catch; @Bogeyman previously stated in the Turkish missile thread (I believe) that during the Turkish operation in Idlib, Turkey nearlu exhausted all of its artillery ammunition! Then what do you think will happen to Turkey whej it tries not to take a city but 2 or more at the same time with ofcourse opposition from wealthier nations like US? The US wants Turkey to delve into Syria amid ongoing tensions with Greece. I will be honest here, I wouldnt be surprised if a war between Turkey and Greece broke out within the next 5 years! If Turkey entered Syria and exhausted its ammunition then how will Turkey fight Greece when they have the ammunition of nations like Egypt available to them.
Link👇

Some might say that Iam crazy, and trust me I would have said so to myself 9 months ago but after I saw how USA roped Russia and Putin into a disastrous war for Russia and crippled it within months; then Iam 100% sure that they are planning for something similar regarding Turkey and Greece and with Greece disastrous economy, having the Greeks win is actually more beneficial than getting the technologically-growing Turkey to win. The moment Turkey empties its stockpiles, the moment the US and Greece will act! If Greece waited for 10 more years, then the prospect of it defeating Turkey in war is literally null

i know many hate Soylu and that he is corrupt but considering his track record, he is the only one in his position throughout the AKP tenure so far to actually pursue the PKK fervently. We really should take his words with a bit of seriousness since he did state that such acts may re-appear with continued US backing to PKK

Terrorism in Turkiye was much worse in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Not to discount even Turkiye has its fair in the 2000s and the 2010s.

Pkk rountinely went into villages massacred everybody while in the 2000s you had Al Qaeda and the Pkk while in the 2010s you had Pkk and its offshoots along with Isis.

In the 90s even 80s you had many Village guards who went rogue.

Jitem fought terrorism while at the same time many of its members also went rogue attacked the Turkish state itself even engaging in drugs even Cem Ersever called out the corruption until he got martyred.

Beautiful nation of Turkiye just cant catch a break 🥲

i agree with you too but dont forget pkk has foreign fighters so called volunteers but actually army veteran serving their intelligence service

and dont forget ASALA trained pkk members back in time
I also don't forget when PKK first trained in Palestine.

And HPG-PKK just denied the attack ,yes those terrorist rats are never to be trusted but it is not really their style to conduct an attack either. They are (government) trying to look away from Iran and Iran-backed militias and ISIS (or other groups formed in radical views) as hard as possible. Now some sources are reporting "possible connections with ISIS and other regional terrorist groups are under investigation" despite of what Soylu has said few hours ago as "definitely PKK-YPG related".

Since they (ministry of interior - Soylu) have attempted to divert attentions at the last ISIS suicide bomber incident by false-flagging the terrorist as Kurdish thus PKK origin but then few days later finding out to be a dangerous ISIS member, i am not buying this.

Left wing groups like pkk have always engaged in bombings and suicide bombings.

I do believe pkk with Iranian help did this attack.

The Tamil Tigers a left wing terrorist group actually popularised use of suicide bombings with a suicide vest and their own suicide battalions.

Then again the use of suicide in war is nothing new like the Japanese kamikazes of ww2.

Terrorist groups regardless of ideology will always believe in the greater good.

Which means they wont be shy of killing civilians to achieve their revolutionary aims.

Irgc also operates in the same manner.

But lets not forget how terrorism is used by other countries to weaken another country.

Turkiye spent decades in fighting terrorism who benefitted?

Russia, Iran, Usa, China, Armenia and Greece. Even Arab countries like the Uae and Egypt sent funds to Pkk.

Pkk and Isis are the perfect scumbags to be used for dirty work.

Isis and al qaeda never attacked Israel or Iran. Bin Laden in declassified reports exposed links between Iran and aq.

While the Assad regime harboured Al Qaeda in Iraq precusor to Isis

This is exactly the PKK style though it is executed poorly due to the terrorist being trained in Syria with bad trainers/experts terrorists of YPG/SDF, rather than proper PKK terrorists. This is a revenge OP. It is done because PKK lost the historical Zap terror camps/mountain area where PKK has been building fortifications/war tunnels(Tora-Bora style war tunnels under thick rocks) for the last 45 years. On top of that PKK sees a new reality. They are losing ground fast against Turkish armed forces even when they are using Taliban-style war tunnel warfare. PKK is down to 2 big areas and 2 small areas in northern Iraq.

Metina, Zap, Avasin-Basyan is all under the control of TSK now. Extremely harsh geography with tall rocky mountains accompanied by forests in some places. PKK is down to 2 big areas and 2 small areas in northern Iraq. The big areas are Gara and Qandil mountains. The Gara operation will start next year. Southern Hakurk is still under PKK control but PKK can't utilize the area well anymore because northern Hakurk has a geographical advantage over Southern Hakurk. PKK has a presence in Sinjar though it doesn't have control of the area. Mahmur and Asos are too far away and too small to be a real threat. Mahmur is originally a UN refugee camp that became a semi-PKK camp and a recruiting and communication ground for PKK. Asos is believed to have 300-500 terrorists. Most of the time big shots are traveling between Qandil and Asos.

If TSK gains control of Gara PKK won't have any immediate reach to the Turkish borders anymore.

Narrowing name to DFLP does not hide the fact they were trained by PLO, which is clearly ancestors of whom in power in Palestine now. We also know Palestine's position against TR, so no worries. PLO hasn't just trained PKK's first members but also other leftist terrorists* in TR.

*They are the ones along with others trained by someone else to fuel events in 70s.

They have a lot of better ways to demonstrate their concern of loosing ground and exploding a bomb, a noob way is not their style. Do you live in Istanbul? I can tell you 10 more effective spots to trigger that bomb, they could have picked to explode the bomb which lacks the security around the neighbourhood, such as metro entrance, a confined space where dozens of people are flowing towards to the Taksim Square.

Also there was an event in Synagogue at Beyoğlu - Galata, yesterday as part of "Jew's week". The target clearly was not random people in the Istiklal. Timing is meaningful.

When they will let us see the other 19 which is affiliated with the attack? Soylu speaks so certain that they were involved and they were the ones who instructed her. Are they afraid of revealing them because of their ethnics?
Which is why we need to be coldblooded about this. Nothing this government says is trustworthy.
