I was wondering if MIUS B would be a good option for BAF to replace aging F7 ? We have 36 of those.

But for obvious budget restrain, it would be unlikely to replace all of them with costly modern 4.5 gen fighter ( like gripen, f16v or j10c )

Even MIUS A would be stellar replacement. Those F7s shouldn't be flying anymore. MIUS A will be capable enough to deal with 3. gen and most 4. gen aircrafts.

You are right. Those f7 are like flying coffins.
but I think BAF would want to replace a supersonic aircraft with another supersonic one.

Hopefully KE will live up to its hype. Thus, it would be convincing for BAF. ( And others )

TAI's product-based system development roadmap, which was published many years ago.
Fg-mC6SWIAANFG8

This roadmap has been widely advocated in defense circles in the past years as no longer being realistic. However, following some declassified project announcements in the last year or two, we see that this roadmap is still largely valid. Of course there are some updates.

For example, when we examine the specifications in the TAI UAV systems roadmap document, we see that the Anka-Aksungur UAV-6 is an intermediate step for the High Altitude/Long Endurance UAV system. The strategic UAV(on graphic) is Aksungur, while the UAV-6 aka -YIHA- is Goksungur.

The specs for Goksungur 10 years ago were as follows:
Maximum altitude: <65kft
Flight endurance : <36 hours
Maximum speed: < 0.6M
Payload capacity: <2000kg
Propulsion: Turboprop / Turbofan
Three redundant control computers
Payloads: : EO IR LD LRF / EOLOROP + SAR/ISAR /ELINT + COMINT
Command and control links: BLOS / Via data link

In the same document, let's take a look at the specifications of the High Altitude Insidious(Sinsi) UAV, codenamed IHA-7:

Maximum altitude: <45kft
Mission altitude: >3000ft (AGL)
Operational radius: 4000km
Flight endurance : <12 hours
Maximum speed: <1M
Cruise speed: <0.6M
Payload capacity: <2000 kg
Wingspan : 12m
MTOW: 6000 kg
Propulsion: Turbofan (20 kN)
Three redundant control computers
Payloads: EO / IR / LD / LRF + Radar ED / EA System + Search - Tracking Guidance Radar
Command and control links: Via Data Link

In the light of these data, it can be concluded that the Göksungur UAV is a YIHA, while the 7-ton MTOW turbofan UAV is a Sinsi-IHA. Or a later solution between Sinsi-IHA and TISU. Because it seems that the main difference between the IHA-7 Sinsi-IHA and the IHA-8-TISU specs are flight endurances, hence maneuverability and angle of attack.

Finally, let's take a look at the TISU specs as predicted by the vision 10 years ago:
Maximum altitude: <45kft
Mission altitude: >3000ft (AGL)
Operational radius: 200km
Flight endurance : <4 hours
Maximum speed: <1M
Cruise speed: <0.6M
Payload capacity: <2000 kg
MTOW: 9000 kg
wingspan: 10-12m
Propulsion: Turbofan (25kN)

In conclusion, I would like to remind you again that these specs and data are in no way official; they are just a view from the vision document of 10 years ago to the present day. And as I said at the very beginning of the post, the road plan in the first graphic may be preserved to a significant extent.

note: I don't know how to upload the document to the site, but I was able to find a copy of it on the internet. You can still access the original document at this site: http://ercancinar.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SSM_İHA_Sistemleri_Yol_Haritası_2012.pdf

If you want, I can upload them all here as pictures. It consists of 148 pages in total. I adapted them all as PNG.

@Yasar
Should I delete post #7,667 ?
It seems to be too big maybe (also your reaction :p).
Also @ admins. Feel free to slap a DH watermark on the images if you like.
Just a like is never enough. Dude, thank you for work to create this. Really great job. If you turn it into a PDF by adding some descriptive information such as the date of the systems and their basic characteristics, it could be only UAV-oriented catalog that shared ever. Please not forget to put your marks on each page. Thank you again for taking your time and creating such a great work.
