Neither Tork nor Akkor is delayed. There is no platform to put Akkor on. Akkor is planned for Altay and the next generation tracked IFV with Korhan turret. Leo2A4 TIYK will also have an active protection system but it will probably have Pulat like the M-60T as a cheaper alternative.

Nail Kurt made the following statement about PARS V:

“PARS V under the name of PARS V. It will be a better, superior vehicle than PARS IV. Of course, each vehicle has its own job descriptions in its own class, but there is no better vehicle in this class at the moment. When you look at this weight class and in terms of mission flexibility, we came up with a different vehicle that can perform every task. You'll know what I mean when you see it already launched.

Nail Kurt also stated that studies on unmanned systems continue. He stated that the dehumanization of 5 M113 ZPTs is on the agenda and that they are in talks with the Presidency of Defense Industries. Nail Kurt's statements on the subject are as follows;

As our initial project, we have a 15 ton class project, which is referred to as a light tracked but unmanned heavy class. Currently, technical negotiations are about to be completed. I think we can sign the contract with SSB this year. We will prepare 5 M113s to be used in different missions. It took a long time to define job descriptions, new concepts.

in fact, until now, aselsan and mke could have combined to make a turret with a 90mm cannon.

Mke would improve the 90mm gun system, Aselsan in fact the tower.

Now, instead of attaching a foreign wheeled tower to our tracked vehicles, we used to attach this domestic 90mm tower to our vehicles.

PARS IV has started development in 2019 and has been presented to the public at IDEF21.

he said back then

“The 8×8 version has the priority over the smaller vehicle, and the prototype that we can see here meets the requirements and needs of the Army"

What is going on with the land projects is a mystery.

Friends, let these wheeled and tracked armored vehicles enter the inventory.

But when you look at the Ukraine-Russia war, these types of vehicles are easily hit and are out of the war.

There are many hunters such as artillery strikes, anti-tank, rocket launchers, drones etc. So, will these vehicles we produce survive among so many hunters? Does it have any important protective features?

Nato stanag level X does not protect our soldiers from anti-tank. Protects exclusive advanced Technologies. So, are these technologies available in these vehicles?

Then these vehicles should not be walking coffins for our soldiers.

Ukrainian military told about appliance of Turkish armored vehicles on the battlefield against russian invaders

The Armed Forces of Ukraine actively use a number of armored vehicles delivered as part of defense assistance from various countries on the battlefield. One of them is the Kirpi MRAP by the Turkish company BMC. The TV and radio studio Breeze tells how this vehicle helps the Armed Forces to destroy the russians.

The Kirpi armored vehicle is quite modern, it was developed according to NATO standards and was adopted by the Turkish army in 2014. This is a heavy armored personnel carrier of the MRAP class protected against mines and ambushes, designed for personnel transportation. Provides protection against armor-piercing projectiles, mines, improvised explosive devices and other ballistic threats up to STANAG 4569 level 3.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine already have 50 units of such vehicles in service, which take an active part in combat operations. Another 150 units of Kirpi armored personnel carriers Ukraine is about to receive in the near future. These vehicles got positive reviews.

"They proved themselves well. We conducted offensive actions by means of these vehicles. They proved themselves as an excellent armored vehicle. There were moments when there were strikes from both tanks and ATGM’s, but vehicles withstood," says serviceman Anton.

Ukraine’s military quickly mastered KIRPI, it is convenient and easy to operate. The effectiveness of the 12.7mm M2 Browning machine gun is noted separately: during the military exercises it was fired at a distance of 600-800m in motion. "This machine gun is the great, I think. It is effective, the main thing is to understand it," says serviceman Vitaly.

BMCs new 8x8 Truck.

First seen in 04/2022 during a presentation from TUBITAK.

The last one is interesting because in 11/2021 ASELSAN showed off the same TEIRS with ANADOLU ISUZU (TATRA) Seyit 8x8

Sigh... I hope this time BMC can pull a 8x8 off.
Their 6x6 Unarmored and armored ones are already doing work.

We will most likely see Pars V at IDEF'23
I remember that they were getting ready for TUMOSAN powerpack tests on Pars IV. Do we have any information regarding that and do you think that Pars V will come with a TUMOSAN powerpack ready to go?

As far as I know, they are running a Tümosan engine on the test vehicle with a different transmission. Tümosan is also developing a transmission for its engine but there is a 6 months difference between the two projects give or take a few months. The engine will go into serial production early next year. The transmission will be ready in 2023. We don't know the specs of Pars V. IMHO if it approaches 30000kg Tümosan's engine might need some kind of modification to reach something like 600HP to reach a 20HP/t ratio.

Just 12? I mean yes it is for the special forces but still the number seems low.

The FNSS Pars IV 6X6 MKKA project was completed with the last 3 units being delivered to the armed forces with a ceremony in the FNSS facilities. The configuration offers the best survivability in its class. Total of 12 vehicles were delivered within the project.

I thought it was for army. There are POH members in the picture. Logical for POH in urban warfare though.

I am relived and my joy is immeasurable.

Just 12 units !! why ?

The FNSS Pars IV 6x6 has 3 Configurations

The 12 initial deliveries are the 2nd one.
They will likely receive more but they are used to 4x4, so we will see if it will find wide ranging acceptance.
The Pars IV 6x6 weighs 26 Tons by the way.

The Pars IV 6x6 also Competes in the YNZHA Competition which will see 2900Vehicle mix of 6x6 and mostly 8x8s

See previous post...

- Yes. That's part of the different Order for Special Forces Command. Initial 12 Vehicles. (MKKA Project)
- The Other Commands (Land Forces Command and Gendarmerie Command) will receive initially 100 PARS IZCI. (ÖMTTZA Project)
- The Big Tender for Land Forces Command for 8x8 and 6x6 IFVs is awaiting its Trials for 2962 Vehicles. (YNHZA Project)

The "Main" Forces wanted a FNSS Pars IV "light" which resulted in a lighter, cheaper less capable FNSS Pars IZCI which they can purchase in bulk.

Pars IV MKKA (12 orders) vs Pars IZCI (100 orders. Planned were 400)

They wait for the local engine and transmission to be ready. Around 450 will be ordered in the beginning and then the numbers will go up.

the main reason of Turkish forces want to use this one instead of Kirpi is it also has protection against antitank missiles. YPG use them a lot
