Honestly, M113 is paper thin as opposed to this one. Modernised ZMA-15 has add-on armour on sides and ZMA-X is almost the same thing, plus the unmanned control and LIDARs
M113s can have Alkar mortar to give indirect fire support to keep them further away so it would matter less, for example. Cheap and could still have something to do. It is better than just letting them sit in reserve as they are, which is most certainly what we are going to do if we ever pick a replacement.

"Korkut chassis" is ACV-AD, ACV 30 by its previous name. It's a big vehicle, up to 30 tons.

Really doubt a steel hull ACV AD would weigh 20 tons with combat weight as claimed on their website.
To drive the point home, this is the best look we got on a Korkut Spaag ACV-AD(ACV-30) next to a regular ACV-15(in this case Aselsan's UGV tech demonstrator based on ACV-15T1). ACV-30 is huge compared to the 15.

To clarify, as far as I'm aware, ACV-30 was based on the 18 ton ACV-19[Akıncı, originally ACV-S(tretched)]. ACV-19 is of course based on 14 ton ACV-15. Turkey is not a user of ACV-19 per my knowledge, but was exported to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and a mortar carrier version was made for Malaysia next to their ACV-300s, which is not related to ACV-30 but an ACV-15 with bigger 300hp engine. To sum up, ACV- 30 is an enlarged version of an enlarged version of ACV-15, which is the license production of an enlarged version of M113. M113 will live forever. So, ACV-30, which was made for army's air defence programs Korkut and Hisar-A, was never projected as an IFV or APC. To denote this, its name was changed to ACV-Air Defence instead.

Tried to find a weight figure for ACV-15T1, but it's also not announced in line with FNSS' new vehicles. They only give a general hp/ton figure now. But, this part from brochure is interesting: "Beyond today's combat requirements, the IFV-15T1 will continue to be the backbone of mechanized infantry until the first half of the 21st century." M113 is indeed eternal.

Grammar error, I meant ACV-30 is based on the 18 ton ACV-19. We don't have the official weight of ACV-AD but it should be at least 27-28 tons, based on FNSS' naming scheme. Edited to clarify.
It is a meter wider and a meter longer, according to brochures, if it is really that heavy that has to include Korkut's turret and Hisar canister etc on top of whatever armour they may have added.

We're on the right track with this, minimise the need for direct control and get humans to become "commanders" instead of controllers. Sarp already has auto target tracking (and other Aselsan turrets), iirc, we just need the auto-engagement system from Gökdeniz to be improved/adapted for use with UGVs and other systems.

New tactical truck, Kısrak from Koluman. Looks to be based on Unimog. BMC Efe production was ended few years ago. Although no deal was announced, we can expect Kısrak to enter service in the near future as some early model Unimogs were retired beginning from 2022.

I assume the hull is steel instead of aluminum unlike ACV-15.

Koluman has a good history in commercial vehicles and production quality, nonetheless, and website works fine for me. Not sure who owns the Koluman now, but it seems that they won't end up like BMC (Hopefully).

Koluman is a Mercedes distributor. They were part of most Mercedes vehicle acquisitions in the past, old trucks, thousands of Unimogs etc. In the commercial vehicle sector they mostly specialize variant creation like tankers, dump trucks. They however also build trucks in house as well as far as i know. Arocs based Derman is built by them, of course with foreign powerpacks. They have a good history with working with the army for the last 2-3 decades. They also signed for armored fuel tankers for the army last year, and we should see deliveries soon. Looks like they will offer a locally made Unimog replacement now, in the form of a different looking Unimog.

They are but one supplier, trying to gain market share. Their website opens well for me, but the defence section is unreachable, they're probably doing a makeover.

Not impossible but doubt it, ACV-AD is amphibious in Korkut variant.
