Could you present a list of all the conflicts going on in India right now? Nilgiri doesn't believe me that India's instability is a serious issue.
I will KKF. India has actually more conflicts going on but you know they say perception is reality. And perception is constructed by media etc. Most of the issues we have in Pakistan are connected with Islamists. And since 9/11 Islamists get prime time news coverage from Los Angeles to Vladavostock. Also Islamists tend to connect with terrorists who target the west so naturally they get most airtime. The conflicts in India are strictly Indian on Indian and don't even draw a yawn from the global media. But I will cover this topic when I get time.

You guys spent a significant portion of your economy in destabilizing and creating unrest in Kashmir. Y'all have been long fed that Kashmir will one day be yours, Khalistan will materialize and form a buffer, India will disintegrate.

Our strategic advantage in integrating PoK & GB is land access to Afghanistan while cutting off your access to daddy China. If that doesn't happen it's still fine since we'd be the same as we're now and will continue to grow. If y'all capture J&K, you'd get access to "WATER" which is your lifeline and the only source...now you can decide who's more desparate. We're willing to wait and make you bleed, spend more resources in the black hole called Kashmir which your countrymen will never see light in this century
It's probably the only glue which keeps an unnatural creation like Pak together. The Bengali Pakistanis realized and got out of the mess.

Don't mind doing it to anti-nationals. Our response to anti-nationals has always been soft compared to our adversaries and peers
Dangerous to dub people anti national. Just give enough space to air grievances.

Thanks. I understand. The situation is similar in Mexico. The country is actually much more dangerous than Afghanistan but it doesn't bother anybody in the West let alone the global media because it's treated as a domestic issue.

The part of British India which was weak and prone to invasions and capture repeatedly without putting up much of a fight thankfully separated under the Indian Independence Act of British Parliament.
You really need to find some history books not written by Indians. The British placed more soldiers, more guns in my part of Pakistan [the north-west] then any other part of their empire. We either fought for them or fought against them like true warriors. Not too far from my ancestral village is the main British built rail bridge over the River Indus that carried their soldiers. Every mile, every hill has forts and pillboxes which had nervous British soldiers manning their machine guns guarding the tracks. More British soldiers died in north west of what is now Pakistan then rest of Asia.

Today, the frontier between north-west Pakistan and Afghanistan is a hotly contested arena in the global war on terror. But between 1849 and 1947, it was the location for a series of punitive expeditions by British-Indian forces against the fiercely independent tribesmen of this wild and mountainous region.

@Nilgiri can you move this thread to the Indian section. Thank you.

It is not in my purview (I have only IND, CAN and hobbies) and frankly I am not even going to read the earlier contents of this thread as its just going to be predictable folks saying predictable things.

If any rules are being broken there, people can use report button and a global mod/admin can look at it.

Thanks. It would be prudent for you to read some real HISTORY. In the real world - this area was conquered by all and sundry. British, Sikhs, Afghans, Marathas. Mughals too at some point. Being unconquerable and being ungovernable are two different things. Nepal (AFAIK) was never conquered for example. What is present day Pakistan, including the North West was conquered by just about anyone who went there with some horses. This is just a fact of history.

This is true. Because we are literally the confluence of Asia, Eurasia. You need to look up your geography. Belgium has been the most conquered country in Western Europe in recent history. REASON: Geographic location.

Ehhh is that what you call it. All I see here is cascades of anti Pakistan propaganda posted by the dharmics and you get one thrown the other way your tripping. What is that about "glasshouses and stones"?

We were warriors. Not Indian punkawallahs to the British. Then when they left, you hallucinated that what they had built, ruled over was your "India". Nope it was theirs. They left. With it went British India. It is no more.
I can tell you one fact with certitude. Even if Pakistan dissoloved we would never come under or want to join India. Never. You could send all the soldiers you want. Hindu Kush are called Hindu 'Kush' for a reason.

We might end up with three or four states but non would at gun point join India. 1947 is gone. Unless of course you could call the British Crown back and make another colony out of us all, including you.

You have Bangladesh as a example. And they are just converts from yesterday with Indian culture.

At no point were the Sikhs or Marathas interested in conquering Europe or moving toward the Middle East. What is present day Pakistan was captured and conquered was not because of any geographical reason - it was conquered because it was a low hanging fruit.

Let me assure you - for most Indians, even if you wanted to join India, we would refuse. Heck, we actually conquered part of Sindh in 1971 and happily returned it. Whether you end up as one state or 3/4 states - depends on the path you choose.
