You can go anything you want at the international waters, spend money(if you have anymore) , but the day that you violate the Greek territorial sea, you'll take the proper answers.
But it's international water for Turkey. So Turkey, like she or Greece always does, will do a military exercise in that area. If you think Greece will sink Turkish ships when that happens, then go for it. Expand the borders. What's holding you back? But if you can't attack the ships then be ready for the ultimate humiliation of "enemy" frigates roaming free your "territorial sea".
"Don't bite more than you can chew" is what I'm trying to say.

Greece continues to maintain its provocative actions against Turkey and has committed 2,321 violations in the demilitarized islands in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

In a statement, the ministry said Greece violated the demilitarized status of islands 2,321 times using naval and air vehicles in 2021.

Starting from the Treaty of London in 1913, the militarization of the eastern Aegean Islands was restricted and their demilitarized status was confirmed in the Treaty of Lausanne signed in 1923. The Lausanne treaty established a political balance between the two countries by harmonizing vital interests including those in the Aegean.

The 1947 Treaty of Paris, which ceded the Dodecanese islands from Italy to Greece, also confirmed their demilitarized status.

However, Greece argues that the 1936 Montreux Convention on the Turkish Straits should be applied in this case, while Ankara says Greece's obligation to disarm the islands remains unchanged under the Montreux Convention, as well as there being no provision that differentiates it from the Treaty of Lausanne on the issue.

Greece gradually began to militarize the islands after 1960 and then fastened the pace after the Cyprus crisis of 1974.

The ministry noted that Athens continues to make unfounded allegations against Ankara and escalates tensions, completely disregarding Turkey’s calls for dialogue.
Greece also violated a 1988 agreement on avoiding military drills and training activities on statutory and religious holidays 59 times in the past year and carries out exercises with extraterritorial countries in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean seas by creating a false perception of hostility.

The Defense Ministry said Turkey continues to take necessary initiatives through diplomatic channels against Greece’s unlawful and provocative stance and retaliates in kind under the scope of reciprocity.

“Greece tries to portray the image of victim by bending the truth, concealing its unlawful and violent acts by taking shelter under its European Union membership, and trying to forge alliances by creating the false perception of threats,” the ministry said, adding that such actions contradict the spirit of the NATO alliance and bilateral relations.

The ministry also criticized Greece for violently pushing back migrants, threatening their lives and erasing proof documenting its crimes in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Turkey expects its neighbor to stop trying to get third parties involved in the conflict, and rather than listing preconditions for dialogue and talks, strive to solve problems through peaceful means based on international law.

The ministry noted that it repeated its invitation to their Greek counterparts to attend the fourth round of confidence building talks in Ankara.

“As we’ve repeatedly said, Turkey does not pose a threat to anyone, on the contrary, it is an effective and strong ally for its friends and partners,” the ministry said, adding that the country wants the Turkish and Greek people to fairly utilize the resources of the region and live in peace, prosperity and security.

The January 1932 treaty between Italy and Turkey as also and the supplementary procès-verbal of December
1932, a delimitation line was drawn between Turkey and Italy, to which the Dodecanese belonged at the time, clearly distinguishing the islands of each country.

This is a another story, the deal between Turkey and Italy is much more then 1 sentece you come with.

  2. Τurkey refused to come before the International Court, invoking its non-recognition of the Court’s jurisdiction.
  3. Turkey is the only country that refers to and demands the demilitarization of the “islands in the Eastern Aegean”. Greece reiterates its position that it is fully justified in taking all elementary precautionary measures to ensure that it will be able to exercise its inalienable right to self-defence on the basis of Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, in particular given the above-mentioned conduct of Turkey since 1974. The moto is: What is threatened is not demilitarized
  4. Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974, in violation of the Cyprus Treaty of Guarantee

First Iraq and Syria is none of your concern you weren't the one where scud missiles and other shit fell down. We are in cooperation with Iraqi kurdistan to fight against pkk you probably support pkk too probably see them as freedom fighters. Turkey can defend itself against any Incursions from Iraq now this happened a lot before We entered Iraq why are you bitching?

Greece does support Pkk when Ocalan admitted they sent arms even advisors.

That day will come when payback comes to Greece.

After Haftar declared his war, around 2016, majority of the parliamentary memebers have escaped towards the West where the GNA is located; the only 40 or so parliamentary members that remained are the ones which are pro-Haftar and I assure you that they arent the majority. Iam sure you know how parliaments work, right?
According to the constitution, all parliamentary decisions must come from within the parliament and no parliamentary member can do so if he is not within the parliament. What the geniuses pro-haftar parliamentary members did is that they still conducted regular parliamentary sessions, during the war, while recording the ones who escaped as absent. Thus, voila, pro-haftar members gained the majority by 40 to nill

The pro-libyan parliament is a joke

Kurds represents the 20% of population in Turley. What is problematic is that Turkey has reduced the Kurdish quest for greater collective minority rights to a fight against the PKK and YPG. Turkey treats all Kurdish opposition (peaceful and militant) as PKK-inspired ‘terrorism’. Also problematic is how Turkey is taking its ‘war on terror’ into the region without addressing root causes of the conflict in Turkey itself. This combination will create new Kurdish grievances at home and instability in the neighbourhood.

Turkey has long marginalized and repressed Kurdish collective minority rights, which helps explain the very existence of the PKK. In today’s Turkish Republic, there is a near-total absence of space for independent political representation and societal debate regarding collective minority rights – and much else. The main party standing up for minority interests, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) , has been eviscerated. Its leaders(Selahattin Demirtaş) and many members are in jail on charges of terrorism without due process or convincing evidence.

If Turkey wants peace and reduce the PKK power, must give more liberal democracy, justice kai human rights to the Kurds.

As regards the Turkish allegations for PKK camps in Greece are ridicules, no proof was ever provided though and it is quite certain they never will.

Hdp has ties to pkk and they refused to cut all ties while Selahattin demirtas literally took photos with pkk terrorists and bragged about how they are going to put Ocalan statues every where in Turkey.

By the way a few Ottoman warriors led by Osman Gazi whopped thousands of Greeks. All it took was a few raids to make you guys pay tribute to us. Stay in your lane.

Also Ataturk led an army that was outnumbered and outgunned to beat the Greeks. Ataturk basically reformed a dead Ottoman army while Greece still had its army intact as it did not face so much destruction or heavy casualties in ww1.

2- Erdogan even initiated ''peace process'' with PKK. Prior, Turkey even sat down with PKK in Oslo. PKK used this entire opportunity to stack more weapons, kidnap more children to raise as militants and sending militants to Syria in order to carve out what is YPG today.
PKK is a malign structure that does not seek a democratical solution. They mocked Turkeys efforts to end the conflict peacefully.

He forgets how Greece and Cyprus gave Ocalan a greek passport. Ocalan also admitted to Greece giving funding and arms.

No difference between the Makhmur "refugee" camp in Iraq and Lavrion in Greece, it's still hillarious that you Greeks deny any ties to PKK, Öcalan was captured in the Greek embassy with Greek Cyriot ID-card, using Greece as stepping stone to travel, Greek Intelligence Officer on his side (Savvas Kalenteridis). Not to mention how he was revealing everything about Greek support during his interrogation.
