they put a crushing embargo on our country so that people were unable to buy sugar, bread, etc - with taxes beyond a few hundred % - even though we were on the right side, with the law on our side, legitimated by the contracts signed as a guarantee - Predator is in this term totally right - it is not about the current gov. it is about fulfilling the wishes and dreams of the powers after WW1 - to get the Turks off the EU border - back to the Altay
That's what I said above

Well I think they imposed sanctions in 1974 and supplied greece with high tech weapons, and they didn't even support Italy in covid 19 outbreak and you think they will do the same for Greece ?
Nope, when it gets real no one will want to die for Greece.

That's pretty much dramatic imo.

bro - these are the words of a lot of right-wing politicians inside the EU - nothing fictive here... these are the words of Churchill etc. - not my words...
Predator is right - in 1974, we Turks had struggled about a decade, facing massacres and unfair treatment - provocations and a far-right Greek junta, threatening Turks to get killed, anyhow we received that crushing embargo - these are facts baskan - no scifi -
This time - regarding EU newspapers posting the EU treaty I mentioned above - it will get even worse for us Turks - I think we would fight at more fronts -I think it wouldn't be just sanctions - but they will openly provide Greece the needed tech. and armaments

Now I wondered why EU is in passive mode on the navtex issue
nothing passive bro - the AC is on its way - Italy joint that drill - the UAE stationed fighters in Greece - (you don't think that they didn't get invited / secret channels) - we will see - today we could read, that the EU council openly threatened Turkey regarding sanctions and that it is "TR last chance to back off" - just today, fresh like a McDonald's cheeseburger ....

I meant EU as a united entity and those nations you mentioned only does those moves one sided and this reminds of sanctions and arms embargo against turkey in Libya but those efforts were in vain

SOURCE? In eng. lang. pls :)
That was in 2018, and tables have turned. Greece's and EU's unfair and impractical EEZ claims in East Med has changed people's mind.
The way people interprets that, EU backs SEA countries against China's 9 dash line, but on the other hand, intends to impose the similar one-sided unfair EEZ in East Med is independent of the political view. And the worse, unlike AKP supporter who follows whatever Erdogan says, the opposition composed of more educated people who can judge the situation better.
Bad new to EU, this time opposition isn't on their side either.

Note: I am on the Opposition.

Unless I am wrong, the poll is well from 2020,it's written august 2020 on the bottom right.

Doesn't "24 haziran 2018 milletvekili seçiminde oy verilen partiye göre dagilim" stand for "according to the party voted in the 24 June 2018 parliamentary elections" ?

It was because of the tensions with Greece atm - it was said by the Vice-President of the European Commission - who is a greek himself - isn't it funny? LMFAO - the EU is obliged to help Greece in the event of war - that is what is written in the Lisbon Treaty of 2007 - they wouldn't provide menpower but in fact weapons, armament in general

The vice president only talks to much but does no serious thing against turkey plus those weapons and armament support are not for free Greece gets milked while EU screams and condemns and turkey eats popcorn

Assistance obligation on the basis of the EU treaty Article 42 (7) of the EU Treaty reads:

"In the event of an armed attack on the territory of a Member State, the other Member States owe it all assistance and assistance in their power, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Charter Nations. This does not affect the specific nature/stance of the security and defense policies of certain Member States. The commitments and cooperation in this area remain in line with the commitments entered into within the framework of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which for the member states remains the foundation of their collective defense and the instrument for their implementation."

- EU Treaty: Lisbon 2007

This is an important point that is often left out here by many bros. Greece abuses EU membership and NATO's internal conflict, largely caused by France:

Right right so all nato members have to be supplied even if we talking Greek and Turkish?
"wana have a fight?" let's make sure is not empty handed.? In principle yes? Manic!

My friend, they did it in the name of the CIA aka FETO - for the deep state - why should TR shoot down a Russian fighter?
And the reason why France is sending its AC is for the sake of resources, delivering RAFs to Greece, and to pursue the agenda of neo-colonialism - like pushing Lebanon to form a new gov. who is France to push a sovereign country to form a new gov.?
For what I remember su was on the turnaround from sortie in siria and just nipped into the Turkish airspace for lazy maneuver (like many craft before) it was legitimate to take su27 down by the margin of 15km. Now what was your point?

There wont be a war between the two so,no supplying needed.
All just politics.

My point is that Turkey and Russia have not been in a war since the 19th century, and such "airspace violations" are not rewarded with kills! Different from Syrian machines - what happened back then was initiated by FETO - the desired result is open ;)
