Iraq is owned by Iran. The only Turkish ally there is the KDP half of the KRG and part of the Turkmen front that isn't Salihi hashd

Seems important.

I get the feeling Erdogan is trying to build an Arab alliance through the KDP against Iran, but Iran has been shooting down all these strategies so far.

And Azerbaijan:

Building an all star anti-Iran dream alliance

Relevant to foreign policy - Turkmen and Christian (minority quota) seats have been removed from the KRG by Iraq (Iran)

Our Hashd friend is blaming Barzani for it 😂, despite this move weakening Barzani and strengthening Talabani (Iran)

Edit: forgot link

The Kurds, who shouted for democracy and brotherhood of peoples at every opportunity, have eliminated Turkmens and Christians from the parliament together with Iraq after gaining power.

Kurdish racism is not only the enemy of Turks and Christians, but also the enemy of all humanity.

Are they coordinating with us or to block us ?
I am not sure what is going on right now. We will learn what's that all about. I don't think they can block us in any way. May be they will be posing as they prevent PKK and keep the situation under control while we all know that, they don't posses any real capability to deal with this problem.

Iraqi army presence in the KRG?
Yep! Not the first time tho. We killed a couple of officers including a General while they were meeting with the PKK in the past. Let's hope this deployment will serve a different purpose.

The military point established by the Iraqi army (border guards) in Balinda is facing the Turkish Armed Forces.

The first video was published by Iraq. At the beginning of the video, the checkpoint is seen while going north from Balinda village (to the eastern line of the Claw-Lock op area).

In the rest of the video, there are US-made M1224 International MaxxPro MRAP with a mine-sweeper mounted on it, same model MRAP with cage integration and Hummers.

In the rest of the video, it is seen that they brought more bulldozers, and Iraqi border guards set up a checkpoint in the area. They set up two tents where they opened a position yesterday.

They have established bases in at least 4 different places on the valley, satellite images will come soon and we will see the exact points. In the second video, their movements over the valley can be seen again.

You’re saying Iraqi army has somehow been talked into hindering TSK in return for ? weapons, money and such

Iran. They've circumvented Barzani - TR relationship and the autonomy of the KDP through recent power plays and have reduced Turkish influence in Iraq, isolated Turkish-friendly groups or turned them to Iran.

Iran work tirelessly to undermine us in every direction. On the other hand what are we doing to counter them ? Nothing. We should have taught them a good lesson a long time ago, but instead this government keeps bowing to them like nothing happened.

Very dangerous statements coming from Nechirvan Barzani. While he don't talk about the "threats" from Turkiye he spoke on the pro-Iranian paramilitary groups.

"Q: Do you agree with the Iraqi Government’s response to the threats facing the Kurdistan Region, both from Iran and Turkey?

Nechirvan Barzani: As Prime Minister, as a person and as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, he has had a very good attitude, both about Iran and other countries that create problems for Iraq. Regardless of whether it is possible or not, in my opinion, Iraq should try to do more. It is not right for Iraq’s reputation to have several groups of armed factions inside Iraq that threaten parts of the country. Iraq and the Iraqi Prime Minister are responsible. It must end this issue, which can only harm Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. The danger to the Kurdistan Region starts with the fact that if Iraq does not protect the Region, if Baghdad does not seriously defend the Region, then the Region must think of something else, because ultimately, protecting the Region is our priority. I believe that the Prime Minister will not hesitate and will do what he can for this purpose."

Another interesting part is the part concerning PKK.

"Q: Is there any coordination between Erbil and Ankara when Turkey attacks the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region?

Nechirvan Barzani: The PKK is a headache for the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. They do not respect the legitimate institutions of the Kurdistan Region and threaten Turkey from within our territory. We completely reject this principle and do not accept the Kurdistan Region’s territory becoming a source of threats to our neighbors, be they Turkey or Iran. The opposition of these countries cannot consider the Kurdistan Region a security zone to create problems. Unfortunately, the PKK is playing a very bad role in this regard. It is using the mountainous areas of the Kurdistan Region and trying to create problems for Turkey. This is unacceptable to us."

I encourage you to read the whole interview here.
