No, if the americans leave, which there is now an increasing possibility, the Russians will try to get the PKK under its own umbrella but they will also fail with that because we basically will have a longer arm once the americans leave. At the end its right now the americans stopping us from going after the PKK not the Russians but once they leave we will be more flexible also with regards to tel rifaat as well.

Agree. This is why Iam pro the military actions in Syria and Iraq. In the last 5 years alone, they lost many high ranking officers and around 17000 members. In fact, according to recent reports, many kurds are getting scared from joining the PKK recently
