I don’t like the way they keep saying “as soon as possible”! What is making the operation not possible right now. The situation can change quickly in a week. Better do the operation right now
They need to give enemy time to recede to avoid excessive reaction. Also to be on the safer side you want to be as prepared as possible and maybe hope for better cooperation from weather. They should know the best. Minester's decleration leaves no option for the enemy to hold the ground. They can only leave to stay alive. Killing the enemy is not the only way, "A good general kills less people than a good surgeon"

“Bir an önce” deyip durmaları hoşuma gitmiyor! Operasyonu şu anda mümkün kılmayan şey nedir? Durum bir hafta içinde hızla değişebilir. Ameliyatı hemen yapsan iyi olur
The best time to operate is at Christmas time. It is the week when the West, especially the US people and state, is almost locked up. It can be expected that week. Note this on one side.

Then it means that the TAF would have to wait for a full month before starting the ground op. Too late in my opinion.

Of course, until that day comes, the operation will continue in a controlled intensity to attrition, target softening and destroy the terrorist ringleaders.

We dont know the extent of the operation and no idea about the operation plans. TAF has an irritating easiness for the enemy during its operations. It is never in rush. In a slow manner, gradual actions. Maybe it is the ideal manner because there is no army opposite, but terrorist organisations. It is the most experienced army against terrorism together with Americans in the world.

If we give them time to recede, is the problem resolved? They can get artillery, rockets etc. from US and can still attack us from 30km. We need to kill as many as possible of these terrorists. No other long term solution.

It they get artillery, rockets we can crush them then. We can possibly neutralize them by scaring them. Taking away their hope that Türkiye will ever budge and let them be. For now we want to control areas, spread the fight over time instead of crushing with big force.

If there is no fcking operation.

Then bomb them day and night with drones and planes.

Also MLRS their asses.

We have the capabilities but no balls due to politicians.

It is not optimal to bomb worthless terrorists in sandal with expensive ammunition. Either Turkey conducts a ground operation or it should call off the air operation

In my opinion, state institutions and officials should not explain too much, because then the state and themselves are in a difficult situation. Guns must speak...

Yeah looks like its turning into an AK party fiasco.

You wont achieve anything with these people. Even their media shills cannot point out the propaganda in the western media, instead they source from it.

Its the same tactic over and over again, bark and bark and hope the americans and russians are swayed by it, when they are not go silent for 6 months and then repeat the same tactic. Its a losers mindset.

Realistically he should have just gone in hard on the side that Russia controls, say nothing and do what needs to be done.

Even if this operation starts, it will be for one maybe two towns, another waste of time.

Ukrainians with sticks and stones went up against the entire Russian army and never looked back. The Turkish military under Erdogan is terrified to move on west syria against a few russian drunks. Shameful stuff really.

Politics is maybe Turkey's weakest link.

Every time we do these operations or claim to want to do it we give the international media the platform to start up the Turks committing genocide and Kurds fighting Isis to protect western freedoms narrative. Then to make matters worse none of the ak party mouth pieces ever counter this narrative. The last interview erdogan even did on CNN they dubbed him talking about the PKK as wanting to attack the Kurdish people.

We are losers with this kind of politics.

For economic and political reasons.

In this regard, they should take Atatürk, Bülent Ecevit and Necmettin Erbakan as an example. There is no other example in our republican history. Embargo, economy, etc. He shouldn't be thinking about things. Statements such as we will come today, tomorrow, the next day, the day after that are embarrassing and damage our country's reputation.

Or one should not make a statement, deal with it quietly or leave Syria. There isn't any other option.
