Iskander-M missile is great on paper. Russians may have blown it out of proportion a bit though. They say it is a hypersonic missile. But it is hypersonic only for a while, depending on how aerodynamic and heavy it is at terminal phase. We saw how well they hit their targets. Albeit an export version, in Azerbaijan they were intercepted and eliminated by Barak-8 missiles. A good many numbers of it were intercepted by Ukrainian Air Defence systems too.
On paper all credentials check out and tick all the relevant boxes. But in reality they have not performed as well as what it has promised to do. Nevertheless, in theory, a missile like Iskander-M is a formidable weapon to have.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Bora-2 is similar in it’s performance and even better in terms of it’s guidance and precision.
russian zombies will not like or will not accept FACTS about Iskander-M missile........
What ever others say about russian junks for russian zombies it is FAKE.............
the eat russian media propaganda for so loooooooooooong that russian platforms are better and they are ahead of tech compare to WEST.

In other words russians are ill. They response with hate and aggression

Gezgin project starts before Siper project, and if even Siper is in trial test, why should Gezgin not be ready.
SIper goes from point A to B, and the hard part is at B while engaging. This is already achieved earlier with Hisar missiles.

Gezgin goes from A to B where the entire route is the challenge, the missile's mission computer should process all the data and follow its path, do terrain hugging, sea skinng if required, re routing, using terrain based navigation ( an advanced, cutting edge type) that Tubitak is developing. It can partially be built on top of SOM but the longer the range gets, the harder its gets for the engagement.

Sage could easily slap a TJ, a large fuel tank, a mock-up EO and fire the missile at 1000 km at a predesignated target with GPS GPS guidance, video editing and explosives placed inside the target than the missile itself, are meant to ingite when the missile arrives at the location than sensing the distance, like some countries does and shows off, but that's not how TAF does the stuff.

It can be very effective, have superior features compared to its peers, etc. But guys, this is the ugliest shaped Turkish-made ammunition I've ever seen. What is this? :)
The photographs are taken from an unflattering angle with a wide angle lens which distorts the view, Kargı looks better from a distance and from top view.

Few days ago, I read the history of German IRIS-T missile. I commend you to read the history, too. Especially where the West thought they were ahead of A2A missile. The bitter truth was. They were not. In this case, we talk about R-73, which were ahead in all parameters on its western counterparts. What I want to say, is, if you underestimate Russians, you will face a bitter truth again.

German Bundeswehr was the first Western state who could test this missile (R-73). The result, they are ahead in ALL parameters on its counterpart (AIM-9 series). So, I can believe in you or what the Bundeswehr and US said.

The reason for the development of Iris missile was the discovery of the kinematic superiority of R-73 over the Sidewinder missile which was available from the East German MiG-29’s. The new generation of Sidewinder missiles have larger diameter like the Iris.

İt wasn't Russians, it was USSR. Please remember Ukraine also was the member of the union.

Moreover Ukraine was the brain of engineering so Russians lost a lot of thing after Ukraine had abandoned them. Now in Russia most of population half Mongolians, Muslims and hillbillies.

That's why Putin got mad, they lost dream team.

I would like to see the copybook of this examination.

Im looking at combat effectiveness not the missile, Aim9 proved Itself to be a reliable A2A missile.

R73 was deadly close but we never saw its combat effectiveness
