Well pakistan has a long range a2a missile and we merged our A2A programs, so like could it involve a new joint long range a2a missile rather than siper based system?
Mate, get your information from more, much more reliable sources. Where the hell it says we merged our A2A missile programs with Pakistan. Pakistan is no where that close defence partner of Turkey.

Mate, get your information from more, much more reliable sources. Where the hell it says we merged our A2A missile programs with Pakistan. Pakistan is no where that close defence partner of Turkey.

It was actually reported here.

Official sources stating that,Turkey and Pak will collaborate on A2A missiles.

The Question is, can the Range of Gökhan increased till to 400 km to use it against high Value Assests like Tanker, AWACS &MPA ?

Well, neutralizing an air target 400 km away is questionable to begin with. Is there any evidence that shows that it is possible ?

It's possible with Network centric Warfare, the Navy use the AN/ASQ-228 ATFLIR POD. With a maximum Range of 800 km ALP-300G can aquire the Target.

The range is not the question. SIPER SAM as a2a missile will fulfill your inventory when your a2a missiles are low. One ammunition multiple platforms.

A very interesting article on hypersonic missiles and HGVs.

Some of the bullet points are:

- Hypersonic missiles are not really a solution to all as it is made out to be.​
- They spend a very long time (around 30 minutes) in dense atmosphere which affects their speed detrimentally, as well as the difficulties with high surface temperatures that they have to tackle.​
- Existing weapon systems such as ballistic missiles already travel at hypersonic speeds, and spend much less time in atmosphere.​

- What distinguishes hypersonic weapons from these weapons is therefore their ability to glide at low altitudes, staying within the atmosphere for most of their flight.​
- Manoeuvring HGV’s is not that easy. It also detracts from their speed.​
- Because drag slows hypersonic weapons, they are no faster—and can actually take longer to reach their targets—than other warhead delivery systems, such as ballistic missiles flown on depressed trajectories.​
- Hypersonic missiles and HGVs are not as stealthy as they are made out to be and are easily detectable and can be engaged and intercepted by Terminal Missile Defence Systems.
- HGVs and Hypersonic missiles, especially scramjet powered ones, cost more than ballistic missiles.​
- Manoeuvrable Reentry Vehicles (MaRV) mounted on ballistic missiles can reach their targets providing the combination of speed, accuracy, range, and survivability (without being intercepted) , just as good as hypersonic counterparts.​

Reading between the lines of this article, one can not help but think that we are probably in the right direction with the development of high speed ballistic missiles like our Bora, Tayfun and Cenk. Thus logically, our next stage of development could be in to MaRVs. After all Iran and Pakistan have them too.

IMHO those systems are only the cherry on top. When the war drags on, your cake needs to be as good as possible. So first invest in the cake. For example i would prefer 100 more KAANs to an arsenal of HGVs.
And i think that anti-satellite weapons will be more important in the future. Because Türkiye will have many satellites orbiting earth. So when someone wants to shoot one down, he has to know that you can do it too.

Gökdoğan's active radar seeker is called AGRAS-100AA.

"The qualification of the GÖKDOĞAN Missile, which reaches high supersonic speeds, is nearing completion and firing tests are ongoing. The GÖKDOĞAN Missile Radar Seeker Head (AGRAS-100AA), which has been serially produced, contains many firsts with its high technology."

This has to be Gökhan:

"Development of Radar Seeker Head (AGRAS-200AA) for a longer range Air-to-Air Missile than GÖKDOĞAN is ongoing."

Atmaca's radar seeker is AGRAS-300XS, while Çakır's is AGRAS-100XS.

"ASELSAN had started its radar seeker development studies with the Surface-to-Surface Guided Cruise Missile AGRAS-300XS (ATMACA Radar Seeker)."
"The ÇAKIR missile was developed by ROKETSAN. Development work is ongoing for the IIR, RF+IIR Hybrid and RF Seeker Head (AGRAS-100XS) types of the missile, which will be a very important gain for our defense force with its swarm attack concept."
