With both of them being obviously beneficial I would prefer prioritizing launch platform variety rather than seeker variety. UAV launching is fine there is many other platforms that would experience a capability leap with integration of a cheap 250 km range missile. For example USV's would have much easier time getting close enough to important targets compared to UAVs in Aegean.

For ground use it needs a booster section. But would give a new deep strike option for usv and could also be used by the army.

It looks more like a launch of a Siper or Hisar O+ – you just need to look at the launch vector 300° 22:00 clock; the trajectory is too flat for a ballistic missile (Ballistic Missile launch Vektor 340° - 360°).
A Ballistic Missile must reach the higher layers of the atmosphere as quickly as possible; any flatter angle is deadly.
The missile itself also appears relatively small even from this distance; I may be wrong, but I’m 90% certain this is a test launch of a Siper Block 1 or Hisar O+.

1700 units of MK84A based HGK (Turkish version of JDAM) has been delivered to Airforce. A lot of bombs!
If the overall range and manoeuvrability of plane is not to be hindered the f16 is limited to carrying 2 of these and the standard a2a missiles. This means 850 sorties worth of bombs.

That is the 2000lb class largest bomb carried by our F16s. It has a range of 28km if released from high altitude at high speed. So the plane delivering it has to enter enemy AD range. In cases where airspace dominance is established it is a great highly destructive precision bomb. if stealth planes could carry them in their IWBs, then very effective. Otherwise you are playing Russian roulette with the life of your planes and pilots. I’d rather see KGK based stand off munitions than these being delivered.
Or alternatively TRG300ER s would be much more effective without endangering the planes. These modern times are for stand off munitions. Not for munitions that brings your planes in to the firing line.

i mean MK84 bomb is used under special circumstances if you want to destroy a large area or as bunker buster. MK82/83 are the standard for most operations. Also guidance kits not bombs and these would be used when enemy air defence is no longer a threat

Türkiye needs a shit ton of bombs/missiles with as much range as possible, the higher the better. Only once you have achieved air dominance you can bomb the enemy with those 20Km+ ammunition. So Türkiye needs alot of that 500KM ALBMs.

We are building Anka 3 and perhaps aslo kizilelma (2026) which can drop those 1 ton bombs in steath mode ! And in future KAAN (2029).

Should be more than 5k but also depends on the airforce needs and tubitak is probably the smallest producer here
Asfat, roketsan and Aselsan should all have larger capacity

If we had air superiority to drop 1700 MK84's in 3 days against Greece or Israel the war would be over by the fourth day. I agree that production should be increased but amount of air to surface bombs would definitely not be our main bottleneck in any peer to peer fight

Stealth doesn't mean invisible, they can still be detected and target by air defence systems or enemy planes or even manpads. As it has been proven by the F-35 that got it in Iran.

At least do some research before talking ffs, Assan alone was capable of producing more than 80k MK bombs before the government decided to mess with them. Hell, even their latest production line in Azerbaijan alone was capable of 10k. Even if Assan numbers include just bodies, we are more than capable of building tens of thousands each year.

Gezgin is currently under qualification/ testing and it will either enter service in 2027 or 2028

The CEO of Kale said Arat(Gezgin's engine) will enter serial production in 2027 so probably the same for Gezgin if not little more delayed

Read carefully before talking nonsense , i write smart bombs , smart kits that attached to dumb bombs , for just dumb bombs the numbers are different for all since is alot easier that guidance kit with tech , electronics etc
-F35 got detected by İR type missile and hit it not radar ,
F35 engine and any modern aircraft engine has huge İR signature ( hot ) that İR missiles can hit them

Exactly, when it comes to modern air fights, you have to fight as "cowardly" as possible, which means producing thousands of standoff missiles to decimate the enemy air defenses. After that, drop thousands of GAZAPs on their heads and kill everything on 2 legs.

The single-piece heavy munition safe loading limit should be around 650 kg. Therefore, 1-ton class bomb kits are not suitable for the Anka 3 system, and the MK 84 HGK is not only heavy but also a very bulky munition.

On the other hand, the batch size of 1700 indicates a production volume that should not be underestimated. This is probably the second largest capacity in the West after the United States, the world's largest exporter in this class. In my assessment, Turkiye's production capacity for 2000-lb class bombs + guidance kits could easily be increased to over 3000s if it feels any imminent threat. The total capacity of all guidance kits in all classes in the US is theoretically around 40-45,000 at most. In the 2000lb class, it can be estimated to be around 10-12,000 at most, and dozens of allied countries benefit from this pool besides the US Department of Defense.
