One thing I noticed: lack of dedicated IFV hence improvised fighting vehicles are used.
We have around 100 AIFV, while having various of other ones as the ratel ifv,VAB and bmp. Kind of getting old, and are often stationed around the sand wall in sahara. Morocco have been looking for a replacement for over a year now, reportedly the VAB Mk 3. We will definitely see more purchases in 2022-2023 in the fields of artillery. and IFV. Aswell as some acquisition in frigates, and OPV.

Is there any information regarding Moroccan army BMS ? @Knowledgeseeker

All MAF military purchases are focusing on quality, rapid flow of information, interoperability between different equipment on Land-Air-Sea, according to a C4i architecture. I will mention a few platforms that use different systems.

- We have the Blue Force Tracking system on our M1 Abrams.
- When it comes to our navy the fremm heavy frigate use "Setis combat management system, while our sigmas use the "Tacticos" system.
- All our air defense systems of Chinese, french, and American will be integrated into the central air defence management system.
- MUMT-2 kits ordered with AH-64E will allow high level of interoperability between our Apache's and drones ( Hermes900, tb2 etc) by sharing video streams in real time, also with ground troops or ships for example. Link 16.

It will be nice if you provide the source, and is this Abrams exclusive or are there any plans to fit other Moroccan ground assets with similar BMS ?
Morocco is in a middle of a modernisation transition, so a lot of new weapon systems of ground assets will be procured within the next year. Its not a lot of information about the subject of bms, but it seems like the Moroccan armed forces are aiming high. We can expect that other ground assets will be within the same systems.

I learned that the moroccan-tunisian cooperation have been even closer in the last years «secretly» amid politial tension in our region.

I think Tunisia is the only country in the region that truly believes in the Maghreb union we're acting like nothing happening cooperating with every Maghreb country including Morocco and Algeria.

I think morocco believed in the union aswell, but then incidents occured that broke the union. It survived for a couple of years. I think its the best interest of tunisia to not bend to much on side openly. Behind closed doors is another topic😇

I doubt Mirage 2000s can do anything against air supremacy fighters in 21st century they are good for AG but for longer ranges no It won't work.

They have been modernized a lot to meet modern requirements threats with the astrac program. They are still capable fighters after the modernization but From 2023-2024, the first Mirage F1s will be out of service, to make way for the new Falcons vipers.

Hmm does Morocco plan to retire all F1s or retain some upgraded MF2000 ? Those are fairly new upgrades (2010).

Still good for A2G/anti shipping role.

Yes they got upgraded between 2008-2010 but they been in service more then 50 years, the aircraft is ready for retirement. They could be used as aggressor training aircraft, but I only read reports claiming that all of them will b gradually retired with the delivered of vipers.. A order of around 20 f16 are also been reported, taking the total number to around 70 f16. Lets not forget the F-5 Tiger 3 modernization by IAI. According to the Israeli public channel"Kann News",Moroccan military officials have asked to modernize the F-5 to tiger 4 with the installations of Aesa radar, BVR capability aswell as news avionics, and general improvements.
