I-Class's (Milgem 6th,7th,8th hulls) bid evaluation process has been completed within SSB. The report will be approved and appointed for the next SSIK. :)

TF2000 will be equipped with LOS antenna to manage UAVs, will have a dedicated UAV wing that will operate VTOL UAVs as a mothership or taking control of the land-based or carrier based fixed wing UAVs to carry out ISR - Precision strike - Target tracking - ASuW - ASW duties - ELINT/COMINT.

I-Class and Ada Class will obtain such a feature, as well, but the UAV wing will have a limited presence with less amount of the consoles.

There is a work to equip all major platforms with dedicated SIGINT / COMINT antennas.

In addition to LOS, a large bandwidth SATCOM antenna is already present in I-Class and TF2000 for future Network Enabled Warfare, which will technically control any UAVs through the SATCOM.

Thanks for the info. What is the estimated time for the start of TF-2000 construction?

Since Telemus is now bankrupt, I wonder which company is going to provide ESM antennas. Not a single company in Turkey have any product like DF antennas etc.

Two new surface platforms are under-review for the Turkish Navy. SSB-TN is going to set a decision by end of May - midst of the June for one of them. The latter one will be settled by the end of the year (2022) and funds will be granted for the design studies.

TTHB's final design will be decided in June. SSB-TN is jointly assessing two alternative conceptual designs.
Can you specify which type of platforms are in consideration?

Nothing solid yet, they are commencing preliminary design phase, University - Navy Collaboration for optimization studies. Will be followed by contract stage to detail the preliminary design. Detail design phase is expect to begun by end of 2023 and prolong to end of 2024. I would say the earliest possible date should be February 2025. The construction may begin early by "steel cutting" ceremony, but fully fledged full speed construction may commence from beginning of 2025.

For TTHB, STM has created two different parallel concepts wrapped around different subsystems (ie. the engines mainly) and different hull configurations (hull form), both are functionally identical. One of those are the leading design since the beginning, the another one was studied mainly for export chances. The project's fate will be announced soon and i will provide more details from onwards then.

Aselsan could do that or maybe have products on that field but recently they are more leaning on AESA based EW systems for TF2000. SSTEK may launch another JV on that matter.

Since it is less likely to be sold for foreign platforms (leverage on price and integration) we may guess this is related to 3 projects Turkish Shipbuilding industry is leading.
At this stage i would first expect to see this gun on a Burak Class, integrated flawlessly and passing through certification and calibration phase, then extraction of firing parameters for the gun-control system and finally spending 2 years at sea aboard F-515 Istanbul Frigate.
The schedule is already behind by months, of what was once submitted to TN.

Aselsan/MKE should start on project for Dart and Vulcano equivalents as well if they didn't started yet.

76mm Naval gun, having completed it’s land tests, is getting ready to start sea trials.
It uses all indigenously produced rounds.
It has achieved 80 rounds per minute firing speed.
It has 16km range with standard rounds and 20km with”special” rounds.
It has attracted export possibilities even in prototype stage.

4 different Unmanned Sea Vessels and a command unit. Swarm attack formation.
All controlled from stand off distances.
With more of the USV’s - ULAQ’s to come; Turkey is shaping her naval battle future doctrine.
This will create more shock waves than TB2s.

An army that acts with conventional methods against this concept will definitely be defeated and even humiliated. And this defeat will be carried out without risking majority of any main warships. Turkey has tested unmanned aerial tactical systems in a war environment and it has been seen that the enemy elements are clearly helpless against the tactics created by these systems. Now, Turkey is taking this network-centered unmanned operation concept even further with strategic systems and jet powered fighter drones to completely change the war tactics against most advanced states and descending same concept into the seas and even under the water. The USVs, which will navigate in teams with the concept of swarm in seas, will carry anti-ship missiles and torpedos in all ranges in a way that will make the enemy elements experience hell. We will live and see together.
