Blacksea countries literally have no navy and whatever junk Russia has poses no threat against us. Some patrol ships, a frigate or two, and several UAVs and USVs will be enough.

The Mediterranean is the real threat we face. We should invest in carrier killer technologies. We should arm ourselves to counter multiple US navy carrier/task groups.

Of the ongoing 700+ defence projects, around 150-200 are made public, some of them get unclassified as they mature and some of them I guess will still be classified up to their active deployment. So my bet is that many of our classified projects have that on mind but making them public would be showing all our cards.

The German Kriegsmarine destroyed almost 3000 Allied ships during WW II (total tonnage of 14 million) with only the torpedos of their U-boats.

We need to copy the German Dolphin-class submarines. Imagine if we had a army of submarines dwelling around the oceans and seas, surrounding the Aegean Sea, the Greek island and South Cyprus.

Yes it does have a more boxy cupola but tests can be made with an existing round one for practical reasons.

2x ADKG (Açık Deniz Karakol Gemisi/Open Sea Patrol Ships) will be constructed at the same time. A total of 10 ADGK will be constructed. Cenk-S and Smart-S will be compatible with ADGK. In wartime, both of the radars can easily replace Mar-D. There is also additional space for another 8x Hisar VLS in addition to the 8x VLS that is planned for wartime configuration. Main mast also supports several electronic warfare systems in addition to Cenk-S and Smart-S radars. All electronic interference simulations are done all power requirements and cables are planned with a possible wartime configuration in mind. The ship can switch to wartime configuration in a few days without the need for extensive facilities/docks.

Milgem Ada class ships will be upgraded with the Hisar missile system.

Could not really warm up to the idea to “arm the opvs up“ when push comes to shove! Infrastructure may be pre-installed, but man, it will take weeks (and a great deal of prayers) before those optional(!) weapons are ready for some action. Sounds like a joke!

No, it won't take weeks. It will take a few days and won't need a shipyard. A navy facility that has the ability to supply and replenish navy ships will be enough.

I got the info from the Navy sources. No official announcement yet and may not be announced as there is a possibility to do it with the internal funds of the Navy.

TF2000 is in detail design phase, almost ending. Most likely there will be a tender for the shipyards to construct it.

Thank you for your reply, coming to a shipyard to build these frigates, what are the Possible contenders from your POV? Sefine Shipyard?
