that kind of adding can be split ships weight balance.

One i class (8x Siper + 32x Essm/Hisar) escorted by one Gabya (8x Siper + 32x Sm-1) worst scenario solution I think . Until Tf-2000

I was thinking about Urban Defense's railgun and Zumwalt the other day, and with TCG Anadolu in service, are our anti surface combat capability good enough? I was wondering if a new ship between Istif and Tf2000 should also have more anti surface capabilities, and if we could reach that with a large number of ÇAKIR instead of a long range gun. It's not the same thing but instead of 2x 10 rpm 155mm equivalent rounds (608 per ship?) at 100-200km on a single 15 ton destroyer, could we make 2-3 ships with say 16 Çakırs in addition to Atmaca against ships, could we handle the originally envisioned mission for failed Zumwalt, that is offering fire support for a landing operation form long range? With 32 VLS as well like the other proposed solutions to also ease our air defense needs

I+ Class with some lengthening and extra VLS cells. This could be reasonable considering it can have some room for secondary capabilities like SİPER Block 1/2, GEZGİN or other stuff to be integrated to MİDLAS. View attachment 57584
Most of us would like to see that. But….
I am no naval engineer. But there is a fine balance that needs to be adhered to, when designing a warship that can sail and float with stability.
Weight, draft, length and beam of a hull have to be considered as dependent on each other within reason when designing, so that the finished product is stable and seaworthy.
If I remember correctly, @Anmdt had already touched on this matter in a previous post and stated that the I-Class had found her maximum allowable length with her current measurements. When designing these ships they have to take in to account that they need to be stealthy too.

After I-Class, our next move in Milgem should be a 135-145m long 4500-5000ton light frigate with a draft that is deep and a beam that suits such a ship. Also it needs to yield a type of hull that should be stable and allow deep/long VLS deployment. Hence releasing some of the constraints we have had to live with in I-Class.

What I most wonder is the Ada+ class, in your parlance.
How are we going to shove 12 VLS cells into that hull, I have no clue.
I know some export MILGEM's handled that, but do we know how?

I think it would be more logical to use the land type launchers to save time and cost

Without any vls adding 2024-2025 we can establish

Mediterranean Strike Group

1x Barbaros Track II Mlu AAW
2x Barbaros Track I MLU ASUW
1x Milgem ASW

Missile Load : 16x Siper Block 0 + 64x Essm/Hisar +21x Ram+ 32x Atmaca Anti Ship + 24x Atmaca Land Attack

Aegean Strike Group

1x Barbaros Track II Mlu AAW
2x Gabya MLU ASUW
1x Milgem ASW

Fleet Missile Load : 16x Siper Block 0 + 64x Essm/Hisar + 64x Sm-1+ 21x Ram+ 32x Atmaca Anti Ship + 8x Atmaca Land Attack

Open Water Navy Anadolu Strike Group
1x Anadolu
1x İstif Class AAW
2x Gabya MLU ASUW
1x Milgem ASW

Fleet Missile Load : 16x Siper Block 0 + 64x Essm/Hisar + 64x Sm-1+21x Ram+ 32x Atmaca Anti Ship + 8x Atmaca Land Attack

+ 4 Yavuz
+ 4 Gabya Genesis Mod.
+1 Milgem
+2 Hisar Class OPV
+5 Burak Class OPV
= For Marmara, Black Sea and Reserve.

For a compare Any Possible French/İtalian Navy Group with Same Role Ships :

1x Horizon Type AAW : 16x Aster-30 + 32x Aster-15
2x Fremm Type ASUW : 16x Aster-15
1x Gowin Class Asuw : 8-16 Mica

Fleet Missile Load : 16x Aster-30 + 64x Aster-15 + 8-16 Mica + 32x Exoceet Anti ShipMissile and effective ciws. On the other han Herakles radar just an FCS Capable smart-s mk2 and also is Cenk very capable radar last one Genesis is a godd BMS as French ones.

Worst Scenario is not bad at all . İntegrating is Siper to MK-41 + Mdas and finish Barbaros MLU program in key priorty.

I would wait for the official work. The idea is not unique to them as well. STM has applied the similar approach, more effectively, on Ukranian Ada Class. Moreover the concepts were already available when Ada class is made. There were 3 spots and we have seen 2 utilized in alternative projects.

I think we need to solve the quadpack in the VLS first. The second issue is that instead of thinking about lengthening the ship's hull to increase the number of cells in front of the bridge, the development of peripheral launcher variants of MIDLAS, such as some works we have seen in the USA and Europe, can provide us with much greater flexibility. Thus, in the modernisation of Ada-class corvettes, there will be no need for any hull cutting for VLS integration.

The point was that it's possible to "launch" such missiles from ships. It was translated from Turkish to English so it's pretty normal that errors occur.
No I got that. But our navy could use a good anti-ship ballistic missile as well.
Granted, it wouldn't make a difference against US navy arleigh burkes or aircraft carriers, but it would be terribly useful against stuff like the new MEKO's Egyptian navy is comissioning.

Now I just want a mothership that can operate these to be used as an escort to our warships. Maybe Trakya as a full on USV/UAV carrier, or maybe some 100-120 meter long ship that can operate some number of these, like 8 or 10 or whatever number their programming is most efficient at.
I think they should also consider a main gun like naval type of Aselsan Göker etc. ofc with a fire control interface that will work autonomously. It may not be possible at this size, but if the Trimaran Marlin SİDA have medium calibre 35/40mm multi-purpose main gun or MKEK CIWS can be added over some further variant approximately doubled in tonnage, and if these boats can serve in multiple numbers from the TCG Anadolu deck: 20 multi-purpose missiles, 4 anti-submarine torpedoes and sonar suites, EW suites and a bow gun that will also offer air defence capability, they can become a very large multiplier and as you mentioned, all countries that use landing platform dock will want to acquire this platform.

I mean a boat with a displacement of about 60 tonnes, around 22-23 metres, with a top speed of +35 knots. If the beam can be kept between 8/8,5, it can be around 30 metres. In this way, TCG Anadolu can carry 5/10 Marlin unmanned missile boats on full drone carrier configuration, 3/6 in the well deck and 2/4 on the lower deck just next to the well deck. 9 Marlin SIDA in 3 groups of 3 can not only periphering the firepower of the TCG Anadolu's task force as much as possible, but also maximise the survivability of the mother ships by expanding the common tactical picture of the fleet as much as possible.

However, my main idea is that these armed naval drones can be operated from frigates. Or better still with frigates designed as a drone carrier. For this reason, I prioritise monohull boats, because a suitable crane system can easily operate these boats from the part where RHIB boats are located probably up to 4 sea states.
