Looks to me the only thing that changed is the exhaust to a split design again. Everything else looks the same as the design we last saw in april.

what is the role of TEI in F404?
who will assemble F404?
Who will inspect F404?
Who will test F404?
Who will provide MRO services for F404?

Sure answers for these questions will be satisfactory for some yet there can be more questions like

Will holy F404 be the timless god sent solution for all our potantial cases?

I think they have added few more 'stuff' on the each side of mid hull VLS. Before it was only life rafts, now we have for few more 'stuff' marked with black.

Middle section looks slimmer, probably due to image quality, but the given full weight is unchanged, so should be 96 still. We probably will see a new model in Saha Expo in October and we'll have plenty of photos. Last model we've seen with 16 ASMs behind the funnel is very outdated now. That design had 64 cells with 16 ASMs. Current design have 96 cells with no other launchers. Sensor suite also changed considerably.

Got some "legit" information on the matter, first of all it was not nice of the mentioned media to make this bit of information falsely into news, there is nothing more than a negotiation stage with Dearsan on a certain matter and it is not a done deal. Information leak could not be understood nicely in these conditions.

I will openly tell it when it is the time.

Not quite so, we are still getting 4+ TF2000 and 8 I-Class.

It was an additional batch since the beginning but numbers are updated.

What I meant was, I was expecting us to increase the number of our corvettes, focused primarily on ASW, as 10 seemed like a good number for new OPVs. I'll admit it was just my expectations but still, I'm curious.

I don't think navy ever directly mentioned an Ada batch II in the last decade. A littoral ASW corvette with not much to show for ASW equipment was always an interesting prospect. I think we can expect even TF-2000 to be better armed in that regard. I'm really looking forward to Ada MLU/upgrade.

That's why I said primarily focused on ASW, we have much more experience and domestic systems now. But as you said, it wasn't mentioned, just my hope as I think we need platforms that are dedicated to, or at least with primary focus on, detecting and engaging submarines.

Is Hisar Class an OPV or an ASW ship, can't really have both. Really doubt half of those will be part of the regular load. We will have 10+ Hisars. People really should adjust their expectations for its armament. Maybe 1-2 ASW variant, sure. No way all ships get that loadout.

Hisar also has 4 diesel motors mate. And while it does have some ASW capability, it is not a dedicated platform. Also, where did you see the torpedo claim? ASFAT doesn't mention it at all.

What are the basic prerequisites of an ASW ship?

Number 1 prerequisite should be a very good sonar system. You need to recognise your enemy and target before you can take measures to counter it.
A towed array sonar like Captas-4, will potentially recognise a submarine faraway, well before that submarine is in range for torpedo launch. HIZIR-LFAS needs to be of the same caliber.

Number 2 has to be an anti submarine helicopter that can carry a light torpedo like ORCA

It should have ample number of anti submarine torpedoes in it’s inventory.
It has to have modern and long range depth charge delivery capability.
It also needs to have a modern decoy system like ZOKA.
Capability to launch naval mines.
A high quality anti submarine missile like ASROC VLA missiles

Of course a ship like that has to have electronics that would support all these weapons.

ADA Class corvettes were built specifically for ASW missions. We also have 16 Tuzla Class YTKB ships that are supposed to have extensive ASW capabilities.
How much of the above weaponry do these have I wonder? At the moment many of them , especially Tuzla Class, are like “for but not with” state. So like @Sanchez we are all waiting for ADA MLU.
