Phakanx is the only major ammunition choice between CIWS and C-RAM. But yes, the world's great navies such as Britain, Japan and S. Korea are lining up to buy a Phalamx as they love the cool fireworks display!

I am expecting an analysis from İbrahim Sünnetçi regarding this shot of AKYA. I am waiting for an analysis from İbrahim Sünnetçi regarding this shot of AKYA. The video is short and doesn't give much idea.

What other alternatives do they have, not forgetting that they’re pretty staunch allies of US.

Meanwhile some other great navies are clinging to their own solutions. While USN is nearing to end phalanx in naval platforms , or rather keeping as a very close in weapon systems to counter other kind of threats. (Which is the future)
Dardo,
Oerlikon millenium
Goalkeeper (nearing end)
MBDA was working on relatively newer gun.
Koreans&Japanese like RAM better
I am not denying new developments on artillery shells render airbust rounds useless, that is why dual feed in gokdeniz matters. That is why an X or greater band radar to track small rounds matters.
But Phalanx is not the best for all needs and its capabilities are limited. Just like many other CIWS

Now the are looking at Turkey to deal with Russia, despite blocking every thing they could & every thing they did. Hope they show each other some real love Turkey would love to be a spectator.
We got our own problems to deal with thanks to the forced exported democracy in Iraq and Syria.

OK boss. The US will throw out Phalanx developers after reading them. Be comfortable.

They are already testing DIRCM and dardo like guided shells. Soon to be serially produced.
Is Phalanx being further developed? I wonder.

Want to know about MDAS in details.

When will ATMACA complete it's final test and enter production?

When Turkish naval SAM will be available?

I don't know, it will be more beneficial to send your question to DARPA. DIRCM is still a raw technology for these days. Barreled and missile systems will be developed and used for a longer period of time.
