While the illiterate masses will probably stop
They can do what they want but I am not gonna give up on my Aventus Creed [best perfumes in world are French which I was introduced to in 1983 visit to Gallaries Lafayette] and French clothing brands. Islam or no Islam.

In my ignorant younger days I bought a Citroen BX. It soon dropped it's arse on the ground [the hydro suspension went] and then began bleeding oil. So you could see where ever I went. A arse dragging on road and leaving a oil streak behind. To be fair though I did quite a few miles on bangged up Peugeot 305 estate.

I don';t like Jap cars they just don't have soul or character. For me it's always ze Germans.
Japanese cars are meant for one thing easy maintenance and reliability if I want something with style it won't be Japanese it would be German hell I would rather drive a Lada or GAZ Volga over any French crapbox anyday

No one gives 2 cents about Erdogan's wishes anymore....

Is that no one you are mentioning the CHP, the main opposition party of Turkey or yourself?

What the hell? The 2020 plate Audi Q2 cost £35 with Black Edition special. Lots of extras thrown in. The MB CLA was slighty higher again with ton of extras. The BMW was £55k.

Problem is before AKP time we had mistreatment of conservatives. Not allowing girls with scarf to university was evil. So payback is a bitch.

Stuck in between you have the real ppl who wants what’s best for Turkey.
Honestly as someone that admires the Turkish secularist model the headscarf ban was a gift to the religious conservatives in your country I get it your people view it as a symbol of Arabism but banning it was ammunition for the political groups like Erdogan and his AKP to appeal to toxic western liberals and their so called rights groups

I am sure many ppls wives have french brand bags. I find it funny that Reis opens his mouth which results in worsening of the economy. At least fx currency goes up.

Off topic: I spent most of my life helping people to screw HMRC [UK government revenue service] and the bizzare thing. My son has just got a job with HMRC as senior tax specialist. So he has gone "on other side of the fence". Imagine the irony.

Exactly! Unfortunately ppl like Babacan who were in favour of secularism helped AKP. Because it was for the good of Turkey. In 2007-2008 AKP called it moderate political islam. Big failure. They’ve been riding the wave since then. A coup in 2016 just strenghtened them a bit. But economy going down will change things

That ban was important. In theory the notion of having freedom to wear hijab etc is all fine but what happens is pressure is placed on girls to wear it. So in fact for most the freedom becomes curtailed. They have to wear it or they get called all sort of names. My sister faced this so know what happens. My placing that ban you create a situation where maturity sets in a after the ban removal real choice can be exercised.

Just like that Indian guy who with some screwed over danish tax authorities. Goes to show you should react when companies ask for return on tax payments.
