Dude, why are you wasting your time with posting fabricated lies in here... Nobody here reads them or believes them. Even the AKP supporters (at least those with working brain cells and some honestly left in their souls) know that this arrest is nothing but farce.

The whole world knows that Erdogan and AKP are afraid... They are scared because their time is running out and they can't ever beat Imamoglu in an election. And they know it very well.
Because it just doesnt add up nor even make sense. I would have agreed with everything you stated if the target of the arrest was Mansur Yavas and not Imamoglu

According to recent polls, the difference between Erdogan and Imamoglu is ranging from 5-15%. Considering that the elections are 4 years away, such a gap can be easily bridged especially when it is well-known how the AKP overspends to buy voters. Moreover, I would like to remind you that Erdogan won his previous election even though the country experienced an earthquake that resulted in the deaths of more than 50k citizens just 2-3 months before the elections. Moreover unlike the previous election, the AKP is trying to make peace with the DEM a**holes and if it succeeds then it means around 8% of the votes would be in the bag. With simple approximation; adding AKP's (around 30%) With MHP's (around 8%) and DEM's (around 9%) equals around 47% while the CHP only has a stable base of 29-32%. This means that by doing nothing, Erdo would win the next election one way pr the other

In addition to that, Imamoglu is the weakest candidate of the 2 possible competitors from the CHP's roster; if we went with your theory and that it is nothing more than oppression out of fear, then the ideal choice is to either jail both Imamoglu and Mansur Yavas or at the very least Yavas alone since he is someone that is both liked by the Right and the Left as well as being more "CLEAN" than Imamoglu at the very least

Thus, it doesnt make sense to jail the weaker candidate and honestly the most incompetent among the two while keeping the strongest alive and even giving him a boost

What I want to say is that Erdogan isnt an idiot nor are his advisors and if he wanted to, there would be a plethora of ways that would provide better results than the one being implemented rn. That is why I believe that Erdogan/police does actually have some serious evidence against Imamoglu and his circle and that is why Erdogan went ahead with Imamoglu's arrest probably to try and take Istanbul from the CHP's clutches

Turkish students who protest this injustice get beaten, shot with plastic bullets, tear gas meanwhile kekos waving terrorist flags, singing terrorist songs while dressed like terrorists in Nevruz aren't touched.

Is their anything more hypocritical and shameless than AKP and their sheeps?

Smart and responsible person does not waste over 25 billion dollars in taxpayer money in just 3 days does it? Look everyone here knows you’re some kind of troll and actually don’t care about facts or what happens to the people of Turkiye.

It is said, ‘But what if the allegations are true?’ ‘Can’t a politician be investigated?’ Of course they are investigated, in fact I think they should always be investigated, but in order for the investigations to be convincing in the public conscience and gain support, the legal bodies need to treat all politicians equally. If you file lawsuit after lawsuit against a former mayor who was said to have given the city parcel by parcel to the community by the founder of his own party when he was governing the capital, or a former minister who was revealed to have sold disinfectant to the ministry from her husband’s company during her ministry, or the honorable man who is known to have sold the tents of the Red Crescent, for some reason, you do not touch any AKP municipality and hundreds of other files that I cannot list here, and only against the Mayor of Istanbul – and moreover, he has undergone many council of state investigations during his presidency – you will not be able to convince anyone except your cronies who have an interest in you and the most fanatic segment of your electorate.

“BREAKING NEWS | Istanbul 2nd Civil Court of First Instance suspended Istanbul Bar Association President İbrahim Kaboğlu and the bar association management from office.”

I know some of you will say he deserved it because of their alignment with DEM and everything but this is not the realm of a government.
They’re literally stampeding over every corner of civilian democracy.

Before the events in Gezi Park, Erdogan was a completely different person. After the coup attempt in 2016, he became who we see today.

Gezi was totally unexpected. He was still consolidating his power and it was at its zenith.
Of course, later it was painted as a civil upheaval agitated by foreign powers. Until that moment he was so confident of his power.

Cihat Yaycı; "According to the information we received, the place where this disgrace took place was the Ishak Pasha road in the Doğubeyazıt district of Ağrı province, which is the territory of the Republic of Turkey.…

- Those who walk here with BARZANISTAN rags in their hands are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye…

- THE NATIONAL SOLUTION PROCESS HAS BECOME THE DISSOLVING PROCESS AGAIN…

- WHAT DOES THE GOVERNOR THINK ABOUT THOSE WAVING BARZANI FLAGS INSTEAD OF THE TURKISH FLAG?

I pray that this is not real, that it is just a nightmare and I wake up."

Frankly speaking As a nationalist Turk who believes in Atatürk's principles and Turkish revolution. I dont give a f.ck to Imamoğlu...

''those who hold the power within the country have fallen into error, that they are fools or traitors, yes, even that these leading persons may identify their personal interests with the enemy's political goals,''

İn this regard I dont think Imamoğlu is not much diffrent from Erdoğan. ''Current'' AKP and CHP became so toxic that they dont have any ethical or ideological concern

Witness statement ‘’...I have not witnessed any irregularities in a concrete way, but I have some rumours since I am in the sector.‘’

By the way, most of the charges are based on "secret witnesses" the same method as Ergenekon- Balyoz (Sledgehammer) cases.

Anyway, I have zero doubt that İmamoğlu is corrupt just like Erdoğan but you can't remove an elected metropolitan mayor by weaponizing the judiciary unless it is high treason. Erdoğan stole billions and everybody knows this but it is not right for some random judge to have the power to remove him because people elected him. Corruption charges if there are any should be pressed after politicians are voted out of office unless it involves high treason or murder etc.

Yeah this is the whole point. You let independent judiciary put some of your lackeys in jail for all the shit they've done, I promise you when the same judiciary does the same to some opposition figures nobody will utter a word.

Personally don't give a single shit about Imamoglu, but what really pisses me off is how the Goverment reacts against protesting students while terrorist sympathizing kekos in Nevruz are untouched. Then accuse those protestors for being PKK supporters while the PKK supporters have a good day waving terrorist flags/pancards, singing terrorist songs and wearing terrorist fistans. Probably because AKP is trying to cozy up with kekos once again.

Polis dogu'da pamuk sekeri dagitiyor, batida Türk genclerine plastik mermisi ve gaz...

This is a good opportunity for CHP to appoint Mansur Yavas as the oppositions main candidate, but let's be honest they wouldn't do that because they are a bunch of incompetent clowns in suit...

Erdogan is so scared of Imamoglu he could do a lot of things to make Turkiye better and earn the goodwill of people to beat him.

But nah his so out of touch artik that its getting pathetic and more hilarious.

Gave more ammo for protests to happen even if Imamoglu is a dirty smug prick the whole corruption charge has now ended and Imamoglu basically promoted himself a guy that is getting oppressed to the public.

Erdogan stuffed up hard. Ever since he lost Istanbul the man has been losing it. Go focus on the cities and invest them that are still supporting you but nah he wants Istanbul thats all he cares about.

I forgot all these politicians care about Istanbul. Cant believe how much power and wealth is centred upon one city.

Not even Ataturk was able to break the power of Istanbul eventhough he tried. What a shame how 1 city is able to rule the entire country.
