Economic warfare so why central Bank consistently decreases interest rates and causes dolarization and high inflation? External powers didn't decrease interest rates , TCMB ( Erdoğan) did it however they give bonds higher yields in international finance market.

They load all burden onto Turkish citizens.

Why have they spent all reserves for their constructer bodies?
People who have no clue about how basic economics works call it ''economic war'' because they think we have a great leader whos doing everything right so economy should get better so if it doesnt then it must be foreign powers.

i'm not your enemy guys...just shared my thoughts and fears...whatever you decide i wish you well
In case you are not the member who got banned yesterday:

No offence but Turkish people are suffering under Erdogan regime while you guys support him from safe distance only because he pretends to be a good muslim.
I myself am living outside Turkey so i can only imagine how annoying that attitude must be for the people who actually suffer right now.

Edit: See this is what i mean.
I love how turkish guys with turkish residence try to explain to some douchebags from pakistan or bosnia that turkey is in a terrible shape while the douchebags are so confident that they know more than the people with first hand experience about their own country.

dont be douchebags guys dont push narratives about other countries that you dont know shit about.

i have zero knowledge about pakistan or bosnia and their internal problems so i dont talk shit about how should they run their country. Please douchebags have some respect for other people and do as normal people do. Stop spitting bullshit about turkey and its politics. It is extremely annoying.

Let's call things for what they are....what is happening with turkey currency is not crisis but economic warfare...the goal is tu influence upcoming elections outcome...and it's not first time they're doing it...if Turkish opposition really wants best for it's people why don't they say we don't want to win et expense of our people...
On the other hand Erdogan could also make a deal with opposition in the interest of people...he can retire, make early elections and let people decide...after elections they won't have reason to wage economic warfare against Turkey
Let's continue your logic which is flawed BTW. If this is economic warfare Erdo is losing the war. Why should people vote for a president who is losing a war? Erdo once said economic incompetence can not be tied to external powers. He added If you make your economy strong external powers can't play games on the economy.

Syria is a failed state. Even Turkey's shit economic problems. Syrians make fun of the situation is even more laughable.

Especially how Syrians ran all the way to Turkey 🤣

Real question should be asked. When do the deportations begin??

Time to kick them out and show them a lesson.

They can just come together and embargo us as they did to Iran. Nothing is stopping them. I will believe what you said when the EU kicks out Türkiye from the customs union. This is how economic warfare works.

that would be too obvious...that approach would help Erdogan win election while this why they can blame him for inflation and turn the tide of elections in favor of opposition...open sanctions are reserved for countries that they've no influence over and have given up on them in way that they know those countries are against them...but for Turkey, they deploy same tactics as in Argentina for example

Both Argentina and Türkiye is in this position because of their incompetence to run the economy. Tell me what exactly is the attack on the Turkish economy?

This is not an attack. People have the freedom to choose whether they want to invest in your country or not. This also covers political reasons. For example, if I were rich I would never invest in Armenia even if i know i would make a good money.

Why should they invest in a country whose president is acting hostile with a strongman attitude that threatens the safety of your investment? I wouldnt invest either if i was them, there are enough other countries that will happily welcome my euros and dollars.

All this economic aspects of discussion are interstening amd important but politics is not jost that.

There is brute fact that you practically have two most probable options Akp plus apendix and CHP/HDP plus apendix.

I have a feeling that first pill is easier to swallow for the state and society in general and that sentiment is present among anti AkP forumers once you dilute discussion to that level but from their own reasons would not say it in public ever.

my friend, US government has the ability to control the global supply of money through its global reserve currency, the dollar...and that is what they are doing to turkey...well they sure aren't helping to say the least

So why would they help Turkey? It was erdogan that decided to confront the west now he is getting punished for it.

The last time I checked there is no one stopping any investor who has US dollar or euro to bring their assets to Turkish markets other than people at the helm of the Turkish economy. Türkiye is still in the swift system. Anyone who has dollars can bring those dollars to Türkiye. They are deliberately choosing not to and it is their freedom to do so. Some still bring their money to Türkiye despite all the risks.

You have one active war in Syria, constant anti terror ops in Iraq, border with iran, tense situation with greece, frenkly it is miracle that you at the end have "normal" economy. Really puzzled how people take one determinating point and disregard plenty of others in mutualy dependent correlations.

comes at 100 years

Interesting you have noticed this too....

I mention the 100 year cycle process here too:

Any country today can learn a lot about what is going on in a current juncture if they look 100 years ago almost exactly....as things are being harnessed (by folks in power in various ways) that are related to the significant events of note about 100 years ago.

In TR case, it is something as big as the current nationstate (republic) formation....

IMO, there is a largely subconscious amnesia that plays out (probably related to a x2 generation multiple that is roughly duration of a human lifetime's productive years) in a 100 year cycle. There are "octave"/"resonant" multiples of this at 25, 50, 75 years too I feel.

I see it across the world inevitably and fairly precisely.
