There are handful AKP trolls here. I don't think they are government hired like the ones in social media. Probably, they are sons of corrupt officials.

The headscarf ban wasnt introduced by Atatürk..
Atatürks mother also wore a headscarf.

View attachment 54970

Ataturks Sister was pretty conservative.

A lot of people forget that fact too.

Its interesting how Ataturks mother and sister were conservative while Ataturks dad was mainly secular due to military training he was brought up in.

While Ataturks mother wanted him to be a religious scholar while his dad wanted him in the military.

Interesting with the path he could have ended up in. The choice was his so chose to be in the military.

Imagine what a tragedy it would have been for the turkish nation if he chose the other path.

In the live broadcast of Halk TV, the book of terrorist Demirtaş was introduced to the children of earthquake victims and it was emphasized what kind of an intellectual he is. Yes, this was done by a TV channel that claims to be Kemalist.

Religious bigots are not the only problem in this country, bigots who are educated but assimilated in their minds and think they are Atatürkists are just as big a problem.

When you see ignorant uneducated people, you don't sit in their company, you say they are ignorant and walk away. But when you see people who consider themselves the cultured upper class of this country being herded like sheep and adopting this ignorance, it creates an unbearable war of nerves.

There is only one way to deal with traitors, no matter from which fucking party they come. As long as those weak punks at the top don't act, this shit will continue to happen and grow.

That is the problem,a person can have a PHD/Dr/professor title but if his/her family(mostly conservative) votes for a certain political, the person will automaticly vote for the same party.
There is a difference between learning something with the goal of getting a title/diploma and actually understanding what has been learned.
There is the difference between our and western societies.

Whichever country you go to especially when settling there.

You have to learn the native language.

Not even Osmanli did this. When all the ethnic groups tried to contact the Ottoman government they had to learn Ottoman Turkish.

Now the Cerkez and Laz are demanding their language be recognised this is stupid when they already have their own schools.

Just because Turkish is the most widely spoken does not mean their language is under threat.

In Turkiye day by day language is Turkish same in Australia with English.

Even if Australia does not have official language technically but unofficially its English. So th communicate with anybody you have to learn some basic English.

People who actually stop speaking their own languages have themselves to blame not the state.

In the past I barely spoke Turkish thinking English is enough but overtime I struggled to talk my dad. Overtime I learnt Turkish slowly with newspapers, music and news.

Ama I still struggle to write in Turkish. Im happy I can communicate.

Its always good to learn your Ana dil.
Btw I heard that there were more and more Chinese came to Australia and Canada and there were more mainly Chinese speaking town and city there.

etc I am a foreign born Turk And learning Turkish now.actually I am still not enough words with dating girls here

Are those who say that the CHP will not ally with the HDPKK are here? Are those who say "megri megri" here?
Everybody is trying to get the kurdish votes, AKP was also saying megri megri not long ago, now they can not go to HDP after screwing the relations with them so instead they try to ally with the other separatists who are also islamist from Hüda par.

Erdogan would like nothing more than to see this picture again, hdp votes are the decisive factor after all, without them winning elections wont be easy.
