We're very close to the days when the tourist numbers halve and people blame Islamophobia and Turkophobia or some shit for it. Porn ban and general delusional ideas about sex and sexuality has created this extremely horny young population and they just stare nonstop at tourist women and act in very disgusting ways towards them. I'd be very interested to see the percentage of tourists who come back after first visit to Turkey, compared to Greece. Then you have the Islamists dreaming of their Sharia utopia, but when the utopia comes and the country has no income and falls apart they're not gonna be there; who is gonna be there is their even dumber descendants who will have no clue why they are poor af. The only reason a porn ban would hypothetically work would be because the populations of countries which would support such a ban would also share in low quality of education and lack of basic tech savviness leading them to be incapable of navigating through that ban via vpns and such. It depends. AKP candidate has no chance against a coalition but Ekrem İmamoğlu has no chance alone. HDP will be kingmaker in Istanbul.
